44-20 final score

Roberts created and scored a try - he continues to look an NRL player of the future - Id have him in nrl next week
I tuned out of Flegg and Cup early this week...couldn't put myself through them when I could see the matches were going in a similar manner to the NRL one.

Agree with what I have seen with Roberts though. If he has some luck on the injury front, I would be giving him a bit more of a taste of NRL towards the end of the season.

Benji prefers Makasini who can't defend over saukuru who is actually in form, seems like Marshall doesn't see him in the tigers moving forward
Warriors right winger from Jersey Flegg scored 5 tries, Warriors right winger from NSW Cup scored 3 tries, how can one club be found short for numbers out wide in every grade so often?
Surely they do a review to get some answers ASAP.
Hazyn Mellars ex Rabbitohs and current the Warriors NSW Cup right winger is 6 foot 4, 100kgs, a quick and elusive ball runner, runs the ball hard and aggressively with his yardage carries.
He is always a genuine threat with any high balls that come his way and plays with good aggression.
I see he is currently contracted to the Warriors until the end of 2028, BUT the Warriors for 2027 have 3 high class NRL wingers in Will Warbrick, Aliofa Khan-Pereira and Watene-Zalezniak signed for 2027 onwards.
Mellars is 110% NRL ready now, surely he could find a way to get out of his contract if a club come calling with a much clearer NRL pathway for him from 2027 onwards?

18-4 now.

It goes from bad to worse. The Warriors are cutting us to shreds on both sides. The most depressing thing is that guys like Sukkar with first grade experience are being made to look Ron Massey standard.
Both first grade and reserve grade should be in Ron Massey cup at the moment. Looks like Sukkar is carrying some sort of rib injuries. Do our teams have a plan of who and what to target when they get out there? They need to talk more in defence and attack. They are to quite out there and the support of attacking players is non existent. Very frustrating to watch.

Warriors had speed and very agile around the ruck. We looked lazy all over the park

We lack the correct coaching structures in KOE cup and this more evidently following last seasons poor effort. Time for a change, and think from the board, time to invest.

Tyrone McCarthy (part-time Cup coach) has recently been appointed full-time Pathways Coaching Director so hopefully things change for the better.

Evident the club still sees Cup & Flegg as purely development & 'experimentation' with players, not on results.

The drop-off in Flegg coincides with Haywood moving up, Duncombe given time up in Cup & a complete change-up of the spine with different halves most of the past 4 weeks.

The whole trialing Logan Brookes on the wing looks to have affected his confidence & form. He was nowhere near his best at fullback yesterday. Can make cases for others recently too.

Reserve grade needs a new coach , if we look at the NRLW we replaced the coach , I’m not sure if he is full time or part time but gee there is a huge difference and yes I know we cleaned out the ladies team so why can’t this be done in reserve grade , we will loose some guys - Kit , Luke , Mav Geyer we need to loose a few more , then we have Luai , Toa going , Skelton not signed , we should be able t go shopping and bring in some new faces , but reserve grade needs full time in my opinion coaching , work with Benji and move the guys around to get the experience with top grade training , new blood in players , first grade assistance and new reserve grade full time coach

Not sure if it’s on the reserve grade coach or more the first grade structures they have to follow are just so bad

The NRLW coach is actually experienced & they now look well drilled
