Genuine question. Is there any reason to be excited about this Mickey Nassar?
Couldn't make it at the Dogs or Roosters...

I know from speaking to my son that he had over 10 clubs after him and he presently leads the whole Jersey Flegg comp for metres gained and tackle busts. Great work from Shannon Gallant and Benji getting back on of our own. Seen this kid tearing it up for a long time in our local comp. Won a SG Ball comp with the Roosters and was leading try scorer for them.

I think he will be like a Chris Lawrence, if he is only half as good as him its a win for us.

I hope what I was told was right I know from my son he is killing at the Dogs, I cant see how they would let him go, if Shannon and Benji have pulled it off it'll be great for us. His junior club at the Concord Wolves is a couple of blocks away from WT HQ at Concord. Benji has always said he backs our junior talent. This is the stat sheet I was shown on the weekend. Dogs had him debut in Cup last week, you can see why so many clubs are after him. Cant see them letting him goView attachment 39074

Shannon Gallant is amassing a great strike rate at resigning talent. Would love to see Samuela Fainu re-signed, amongst everyone else he has managed to grab, it would be massive for us.

I would say he is still rated highly but given the time to work on his body composition & playing against men in Macarthur A grade for Camden Rams (wing). He did play very well in Flegg when he did play but I think club has prioritised Attard, Brookes, Glassie, Nicholas & Huahalu this season it seems. He is still Flegg eligible next year & contracted so I reckon we'll see him full-time in Flegg then.

mate Luai is off to PNG and I dont know how long Adam Douehi will be in the halves for. Hopefully Latu Fainu and Jovon kick on. I would love if Benji brought a Kodi Nikorima or Nicho Hynes to the club.

Exciting prospect indeed! I've seen him play a lot of wing & fullback recently, do you think he has a future as a centre @ROZELLE.O.G ? His versatility could enhance his prospects with us.

Haha true mate thats why Gallant is paid the big bucks! Forgot about Schuster, wow it would sensational if he kicks on for us, could be massive if he goes well.

He is one I really hope gets to his best - it could change everything.

I think he can play anywhere @BlackWhiteGold , he played for Holy Cross at 6 and has a great kicking game. When I look at Liam Martin, Hudson Young, Dylan Lucas, Simi Sisagi they were all great backs that transitioned into the back row as strong edge runners. Biggest asset he has got is his speed, the kid has always been scary quick and looks like he has got quicker and bigger at the same time.

Impressive stats and 3 players from the Balmain District in the top 10 and none of them playing for Wests Tigers on 2026, so good to see Mikey come back,

Has been ticking all the right boxes since he originally left! Looking forward to seeing him come back through our pathways now!

Another player I'd be looking to get back is Navren Willett from Manly (off contract Nov 1).

Not one of our juniors but recruited to SG Ball from Taree 3 or 4 years ago before being let go to Manly. He is 200cm with aerial ability & some decent finishing although not super quick (but at least as quick as a Daniel Tupou).

Would be a good 1 year deal, but he's played too well this year for the dolphins to not reward him with an extension..

They got Williams from super league coming next year
