Tigers seem slower and less athletic than other teams.

Travelling fans better do the Tiger clap pretty early.

I was kind of glad that we didn’t score becuse it puts more pressure on Benji to,appoint a new attack assistant coach .. 4 tries in 5 games is atrocious.. and for gods sake please put some outside backs on that are not injured and can break a tackle and lift 1 arm above their hip .. The way the game was refereed earlier in the year obviously suited our style. The game is back to being officiated like last year and we have the same results where we struggled to score.

Latu looks good, tempo and squares up the defence. Question mark on his kicking game but that’s just because we haven’t really seen it. I hate that the way he tackles gets penalised, legs tackle and uses the attackers momentum . Nothing illegal about it besides the weak dangerous position call. You can tell by the way he knew straightaway he was in trouble that he has been working on getting it out of his game.

Simply wrapping his arms fixes the problem of him rightly being penalised and binned. Else it is not much different than tripping, just using his shoulder instead.

I saw Toa and Skelton getting some praise.
Personally thought they were both weak.
That edge was abysmal.

Toa = off to Manly
Skelton = no contract for 27 currently.

Other side, honestly not much better.
Makasini is a rookie so we can overlook that.

Luai, busy and barking a lot, but his head isn't in the game for mine. He's all talk... and he won't be here next year.

So, I'll look at a few things that tend to get forgotten in the misery.

Sam Fainu & Ethan Roberts show that big athletic guys make impact. You can look through every team & say the same thing. So- we need more bigger athletic guys. Forget 'complete' players- find bigger athletes. KPP back next year- Roberts needs to be on the bench. Or Sam in the middle. Actually- yeah, play Sam beside Terrell up front. Have Sione & Pole rotate in.

Doueihi- love him. But he holds back the flow. Latu & Andrews time has come next season. Ride the lows. Reap the benefits. Play Heyward off the bench. Bulldogs showed how to play Doueihi tonight- by using Burton in the centres. That's his spot. He can still do his kicks from there. He just can't direct a team around.

Perhaps that could be the thing, If Latu used his arms and grabbed him perhaps he isn’t penalised,, coaches should be improving this technique,,, I cannot fathom that Skelton still puts his head down on the wrong side and doesn’t look at the ball runnergthe way he does,, it’s so,dangerous, it’s bad technique and he has done it since he got here and the coaches have not remedied it at all. Like what the hell are they doing? COACH the gotdamn players to improve them… so help me god am I tired of watching all of them regress instead of improving… how they have not got Bula running straight and into space at speed is beyond comprehension… it is remarkable and not at all in a good way… I’m so sad for my club right now.. I want Benji to succeed so badly, but worry that he is too stubborn to seek help he obviously needs ..
