The fact that this is a reoccurring theme with Benji. Yet, a lot of the supporters never see any fault in him.

What is the reoccurring theme? Galvin, Luai and AD are all very different.

Galvin thought it was development (and knew the tigers wanted him to be their long term #13 behind latu and luai).

Luai had an offer too good to refuse.

AD was asked to play a position he has played in his NRL career and refused to train.

Im not sure exactly what benji has done wrong here. He is debuting a half who has been blowing the lights out in KOE. Douhei wasnt dropped, he was shifted to another ball playing role. Was benji meant to know AD was a sook and refuse to train and dog the boys?

The directors should be acting as custodians, but the HBG entity owns WT.

But even the celebs who outright own wrexham outright call themselves custodians. Its a mentality shift that is beyond the capability of our club's leadership.

AD might need to play centre next week

I'd put him at lock to give young Javon a chance to spark the backline. Play up to his ego and tell him he is better than Yeo! In attack, he'd offer an option to Luai & Andrews. In D, he'd only have to run alongside Twal to be effective - like a pickled turnip next to a lump of hummus inside a tightly bound kebab. ... and then I woke up.

I think it's easy to pile on the coaching staff why doesn't the team take some accountability, did Brett Hodgson tell Bula to stand and look at the ball go out and do bugger all in the game.

Hodgo was good at fullback how could his advice be crap.

Did Benji tell them to just take one up hit ups, no, he told them to stop it at half time and play some football.

They have thrown in the dirty towel, they should've after the game formed a circle and took turns at kicking each other in the nuts for playing so dumb.

But I'm betting that Dooee will have them primed for an ambush this weekend ... oops ... and then I woke up!

A 7 point plan for Benji for 2027 ... I'm sure I'll come up with more.

Thanks to the lads at WT Faithful for reinforcing some of my thoughts on this week's podcast.

1 Only play Latu Fainu or Jock Madden as our 1st receiver half back.

2 Do not extend any off contract LOW IQ players - cough Skelton & Afoa.

3. Recruit 2 of the following as depth/bench players for their experience, effort, line speed, defensive capabilities - Shawn Blore, Ray Stone, Tyson Frizell or Sam McIntyre.

4. Develop a transition plan for Javon Andrews to take over from AD at 5/8 through next season.

5. Develop AD in the pre-season into our 'own style' running Lock (and 5/8 utility), ability to play up the middle, be a 2nd sweeping fullback and provide a link. Transition into this role through the season (see point above).

6. Drill into Bula to sniff behind the ruck for offloads & for set 'inside ball' plays off middles.

7. Develop Ethan Roberts (left) & Mitch Taotua (right) as our depth backrowers as they bring similar skill & athletic attributes to KPP & Samuela.

Yeah, I like them all, especially point 5. In fact, it's such a good idea we may as well use this end of season run to trial it now. ... and then I woke up!

Kade7 mentioned Sam will sign before Nov1 , I don’t get the hold up as Luai money is there , Benji has given Josh Shush a life line , we signed Sione , what is the hold up , if you want a player you go get it done , we seem to piss about for months , lock him down along with Latu ,

Maybe Shush is being set to play lock next year. That might make Dooee a bit concerned, given the likelihood of Latu and Javon emerging as our halves in time. Interesting times ... and then I woke up.

I don’t think he will play another game this season, selecting him after signals poor culture and sends a message to the players you can treat coach Benji how you want without repercussions

I reckon the HBG board simply get together to swap Scanlen's Footy cards.
