Awe you poor wittle putty kat,Dennis have you got some new material other than Galvin. I think we're all sick of it.
But if the coach wants the right nut instead cause he already has a better left nut will you still part ways with it? ... 😉Hey Adam (I know you read the forum)- if you think your bigger than the club, pack your bags. You have a young kid under you (Latu) getting played in every position patiently waiting in the wings and doing what the coach asks of him not having a sook. Your influence on the younger kids in the club and your demeaner rubs off on others in the team. If ya want to have a sook go do it at the bears will ya. I would give my left nut to be in the position you are in. Team first.
Boy this is better than a Harlen Coben Netflix series! More twists and turns than you can poke a stick at. If only the Wests Tigers would become a real NRL team instead of being a Hollywood blockbuster.Paul Kent claiming there were whispers circulating Wednesday night Adam’s Thursday morning blow up was going to happen, that it had been planned.
Interesting if true
Seems a very sensible approach. I knew a friend of my older cousin who went to gaol for drug possession and he was a (brief) but very positive mentor for me. I wouldn't say I was ever in danger of really going off the rails but I did do a lot of petty stupid things, testing the boundaries, stuff and he came down on me like a tonne of bricks. He took a genuine interest in me not messing up my life due to some stupid mistakes. Only my experience, and M was convicted of a serious violent crime, but perhaps his life experience and guidance to younger players around choices could be useful, as there are a lot of temptations outside of football that I imagine young players can fall into (and feel invincible). Again just my experience.Dont get me wrong, im all for giving the guy a 2nd chance. We can give him a
T & T deal and see how he goes. His life experience would be invaluable for the younger guys. I wouldnt be putting him into any form of leadership role till we were certain he completly got himself sorted. Its not just footy, he has to get back up to speed with life aswell as playing footy. Give him a bit of time first to see how he goes.
Huh? How many tries have we scored with him at half? How many try assists does he have since he came back compared to how many tackles has he missed and how many line breaks went through Douhei… how many wrong pass options did he take? He does not make the players outside him look good by giving them good service almost ever..A forum member last night stated that Doueihi had done more than enough to hold his position in the team. I cannot disagree with this and while I support Marshall as coach, I do find his selection at 13 puzzling especially with what I consider to be the added defensive workload and carrying a shoulder injury.
It’s clear as day Benji always wants to promote youth and gives little substance to players because they have been there - done that..Gee wiz
He was our best player for the first 8 rounds and now the coach wants to move him away from the position he is best at….smells very strange
I think there is more to this story and other players will come out and support A.D.
That is going to place the coach in a very bad place
Considering it's being reported that Douehi knew he was going to spit the dummy and not train on Wednesday night and it was premeditated, that suggests that Adam was informed on Wednesday after the judiciary hearingWell if that's the case Benji needs a close look at how he handled the situation.
A coach assumes he's getting off but Benji didn't name him at half, so you assume Andrews was preffered over AD.
But weirdly AD only found out about this on Thursday morning?????
Big chance. Same reason he doesn’t tackle now.Could it be that Adam knows his shoulder isn't great and playing at lock, would probably end his season much earlier due to an injury he may get during a tackle ?
You could also say it’s the way Benji has gone about this. It’s clear as day Benji always wants to promote youth and gives little substance to players because they have been there - done that..
A few years ago Bateman was annoyed because he felt Benji didn’t respect the senior players.
Last year a few got thier noses out of joint because he supported Galvin so much.
So I can see why there COULD be a rift, but the ways AD has gone about it just sucks.
not really . The lightning in a bottle went away , the rules shifted mid season , and he was no longer running at tired defences thus , actually using the other team mates became important .Gee wiz

The senior players in a 5 game losing squad dont own their positions and are delusional if they think that a coach will persist unconditionally when their job is dependent on a win loss ratio. It’s clear as day Benji always wants to promote youth and gives little substance to players because they have been there - done that..

Dennis, let's take the emotion out of this issue. The meeting between the club and Doueihi is a very good initiative. Hopefully the parties can reach agreement.Awe you poor wittle putty kat,
I must have upset you, so sorry.
Either one mate - just leave me with one will ya 😜But if the coach wants the right nut instead cause he already has a better left nut will you still part ways with it? ... 😉
First of all, I’m disappointed in AD for dogging his mates and the fans. These two groups are the victims here. You deal with stuff like this like a man. Not a coward running away.Maybe you are right. Maybe Benji could have handled it better.
And I'm not making excuses for him, but Benji is sick at the moment. So maybe he was sick and exhausted and figured he'd chat to Douhei the next morning at training?
And either way, what happens if there is an injury an hour before kick-off and a player is asked to move? Does the player require a weeks notice to fulfil their role for the team?
I cant see a way we look at this where Douhei is justified in the way he has carried on.
@Tucker, you often have differing opinion to me - what's your take on it?
You conveniently ignore his last 4.or 5 weeks where hes been one of.our worst... might be why the coach wants to move him and try another angle in attack...as we.cant score points latelyGee wiz

Simple as that.First of all, I’m disappointed in AD for dogging his mates and the fans. These two groups are the victims here. You deal with stuff like this like a man. Not a coward running away.
Secondly, Benji has shown what a poor coach he is. My guess is he was convinced AD would be suspended, so was caught off guard when he was downgraded and rushed this decision in a half arsed manner. If AD didn’t care he would have just taken the ban, but he fought to be available and was rewarded with a kick in the balls.
Playing in the middle is hard as hell. If I wasn’t used to it, I would also feel shortchanged being told so close to game day.
So in summary, Benji stuffed this up but that’s no excuse for ADs reaction.
If anyone will pay him full freight or close to, let him walk. Suspect that’s a stretch and unlikely with any guarantee of a halves position. He’s probably found that out.Earlier today its reported he was pushing for a release
Now Riccio saying its all good...no release sought
