You don't know what was rteally said between coach and player. Benji understood why adam felt the way he did. This will be resolved on monday , i am confident of that. AD loves the club and Benji knows that.

I know everyone at the club is trying their absolute best, but their best is simply not good enough to win a game NRL.
Fullback playing hurt and clearly hampered - not good enough.
Tupou being the first choice winger with all wingers available - not good enough.
Playing Turuva at centre when only one centre is out - not good enough.
Luai not playing to his full potential - not good enough.
Twal’s early season defense completely disappearing since last returning - not good enough.
Having a ‘few’ gamer Roberts as a starting backrow - not good enough.
May backing into the line, leaking in defense - not good enough.
Bunty getting any game time - not good enough.
Haywood having to play meaningful mins at this early stage of his career - not good enough.
Having an inexperienced coach, with one of youngest squads and support staff that are mates and not the best footy minds available - not good enough.
And that’s even without mentioning this weeks goings-on, and the loathsome HBG.

I don’t want to kick them while they’re down, but no one of consequence will see this and screaming into the void gives me a little relief.

Releasing Luai, putting Douehi to lock, Andrews debut. They were absolutely the right calls for the future of this team.

But to me that doesn’t scream ego at all. It screams someone who will make tough calls.

Is he the best tactical coach? No.
Is the team performing well? No
Does he have a top 8 roster? Hell No.

It’s the playing roster that’s the issue. Always has been.

Pick holes in Benji’s tactics or selections sure, that’s fair game, but calling for Benji’s head when we all know that this squad is not top 8 calibre?

Show me a poor lineup that Bennett succeeded with. Or Bellamy or Gibson.
We had Madge, we had Cleary. They did FA.

To be fair, if Bennett were here I don’t think we’d be this bad, but neither would we play finals.

I don’t think another coach would make such big calls and put himself on the line for the team as much as Benji.

Flat footed, the initial kick chase should have all been up on the kick receivers and in a straight line like all other teams seem to do.

I was surprised Bula actually got to Weekes. Last week he ran past the Rabbits players like they were nailed to the ground

Imo jirskyr, the moment Luai boarded the
‘plane to Port Moresby our season was cooked!! Throw in poor coaching , injuries and lots of the squad not 1st grade standard and there you have it!! I’m gutted

I said at the time when Luai announced he was going to PNG that it was, ill timed, unprofessional & would wreck the club for the rest of the season & was pillored by the keyboard warriors for bagging Luai.
He could've said to the WST his intention of looking into in the off season & then made his decision but No his ego & the money got in front of commonse & well.......

Andrews 0 line breaks 0 try assists very few meters and many missed tackles
He's not ready yet for 1st grade
Also our middle forwards were dreadful
Canberra made many breaks right up the middle

And he was still in our top 3 players .. at least he played as a 7, did some excellent kicks and made the players around him a little better.. he is more than ready ..
