OFFICIAL Adam Doueihi #227

The place is an absolute pressure cooker. Big Loss after big loss, controversy after controversy. I'll forgive Adam for making a mistake in a fairly high stress environment. Im a little less inclined to forgive some of his defensive efforts in the last month.

His words in the presser were good. Actions will matter much more than words. Fans are sick of words. "Next man up", "accountability", "brothers" just empty words. No more jersey grabs, no more hero plays, play where you're told Doueihi, its a team game.

Unfortunately the AD petulance and the club response make it very difficult to espouse accountability. The standard you ignore/walk past is the standard you accept and the club has ignored the actions of AD, virtually every former player has identified he couldn’t be immediately brought back into the team after what he had done.

If only it was as easy as saying sorry, being forgiven and everyone moving on. The reputational damage done by these actions to WT, Benji and AD himself will live on far longer than any sorry that has been dished out.
Only if you want it to. Nothing a good win on Sunday can't fix.

Do you believe that?
It’s one side of the story direct from one involved. It has to be reguarded as the truth. Unless Benji slams him for lying you will never know and are accusing him with speculation the only evidence.
Surely he’s more credible than a journo that get their info through Chinese whispers

History's precedent of Doueihi undermining the decision of an earlier coach not to play him as a half says otherwise, so there is no way that he gets any benefit of the doubt truth wise when his body language doesn't match either.

Do you really think that he wouldn't have played halfback against Canberra if he wasn't moved?
