These are the ones we should be having a huge crack at ,we don’t need a hooker in Brailey we got API and Haywood

Can't really see him playing to his potential here and we aren't exactly in a great position to recruit at the moment.

Sure Manly would love him. Souths maybe? Trell is cooked, heard he is considering retiring which would free up some cash.

I actually think he'll switch to Union first, and then possibly go to the Warriors, or maybe even Christchurch.

He's already made enough money, so he doesn't need to keep chasing a bigger payday. Winning the World Cup would be the perfect way to finish his career.

Yes Haywood did well and a couple more runs in nrl then a big off season he be ready to sub API every game next year and just build his minutes as he goes , hooker is not a position we needed to fill , Aggressive Prop , Centre , Wing , second row all need top ups , junior Paulo would have been perfect , and so would have Cody N top ups the half’s , then raid NZ for a couple back rowers and. Centre

Yeah but we also need about 8-10 guys who start for the Magpies and will do a job if called upon, I think he’s that type of signing.

Api is the bridge to Haywood. Why do we need another one?

These days he is a hooker/lock. And is showing some real promise as a mobile ball playing lock. I think this will only help Haywoods development.

Not a bridge. Api our #1 hooker for '27 and into '28. Haywood will be our #1 hooker in '29.

In '27 if Api goes down, Brailey could slot straight in with Haywood his rotation. For the most part, Brailey will be on our NRL bench to give Api a rest & be able to play 13 whilst Haywood continues to develop in Cup. At times, Haywood will get reps in the NRL.

This signing is perfect for Haywood's continued development as we also have Lanyon as hooker/lock utility.

In 12 months time, our very own Mitch Taotua can be better than Fatialofa imo and is slightly younger. As long as we progress Mitch into a T&T and develop him properly.

Wests Tigers closing in on a 2 year deal for 30yo hooker Jayden Brailey from the Raiders. Will be an experienced bridge between Api & Jared Haywood.

We’re following the Jason Taylor blueprint of more hookers than one of those places.

Api, Brailey, Haywood, Lanyon and possibly Fainu.

We’ll probably still make Api play 80.

We can only hope to sign players who have no other club offering them a half decent contract. In saying that he at least offers good coverage for our no9 and we need that

i didn't see it but why wasn't it a knock on - i've seen players drag the ball towards them be deemed a knock on plenty of times.

Yeah it wasnt a knock on...he had control the whole time...my description probably doesnt do it justice but it was a smart play
