Add to that more teams so less depth across the board. Late in season there’ll be more teams running on fumes.

Well, you'd think at some stage with the amount of junior catchment we boast in time that should provide depth, it isn't at the moment but surely this changes in the future.

Sheer weight of players coming through the system if nurtured properly should kick in eventually.

NRL really needs to focus on Jnr development and incentivize clubs that develop jnr talent. I would say we only (across the NRL) really ever convert less than half of the talent available into quality first graders. One of the things I would love to see and have been banging on about for a while now is the promotion of the KOE comp so that it is focused on new talent coming through and players are paid to hang around and see it out...i just think there is a desperation for these kids to get to first grade so they can make the $$ and we burn them out way too early. There is a demand for content on streaming and pay tv, no reason we cant pump some marketing dollars into lifting that comp into a product that would get eyeballs and fans will also love it because the up and coming talent can be showcased, in turn there will be more $$ available to keep them interested and develop them.
 
20 minute period straight after half time after mark scores 41st min... without teddy roosters flatlined...if theyd continues the momentum wed be looking at close to 100+

Seen a few players drinking V drinks and Redbull before game / at half time.

Whatever gets em across the line, I guess.
I doubt the smelling salts really do much.
Bring back the power balance bands.
