I think our coach means well and is not bad considering his assistants and the overall squad , our problem was when we lost Sam F and KPP who both play hard tough games the rest folded , our guys don’t have a backbone when times get tough , proof is in a lot of our lost games , Parra game was very winnable , dragons game , Newcastle , they just don’t have the ticker to do it but we also didn’t have a player on field to guide them a real general , Parra try was coming it was soft , and we didn’t even get close to stopping it , any other team don’t let that try happen , we need a tough leader who barks orders and can read a game , Cronk type player , screams at his players and tells them we’re to be we don’t have it , SamF , KPP know what to do , API same we need a general and a player with a good footy brain that can read a game

I agree with gist of this post but I think KPP is the only bloke that knows what he is doing completely. Sam still much to learn, particularly defensively but most turn a blind eye due to his obvious potential to become elite.
Api also gets a free pass on here in all aspects of his game but particularly his organisation and leadership. He is the guy who should be directing others instead he was the one giving the dumb penalty and field position. Worse is this is consistently the case, not just against the Eels.

The Fozball honeymoon is well and truly over. Had to happen, it was just too bizarre seeing a bloke, who’s never coached a day in his life, have so much ongoing success in the top comp from the get go. Something had to give eventually. Interestingly their losing streak started the day they lost Brooks! Brooksy has become elite!

They dogged it for 4 or 5 weeks with siebold...the only team of note they beat were the phins since foz arrived

Hmmm you’re right there, I hadn’t considered the quality of teams they beat in that winning run! I just remember they were making teams look really bad without realising most of those teams were low quality and playing badly then in the first place!

I just remember their big win over the Phins and that they took Penrith to the wire when Penrith were in great form. I guess that made them look better than they actually were.
