I only saw the fist half so I can't really say.

I thought Madden went will and has proven he is a half back. i love Doueihi but he isn't a half back.

Luai and Api also impressed.

Skelton scored a great first half try. I hope he is offered a contract.

Second half no comment as I didn't see it.

Your thoughts?

Boys had a crack & I thought we had a couple of players put their hands up as MOM. Really good to see Bula play on the ball getting plenty of touches hopefully we see more of that next year. I thought our back 3 Bula, Skelton & Tupou played really well. Sam starting to regain that early season form. I can’t give a top 3 because I thought we had more than 3 that deserved points. Scoreline flattered the Cows

May was excellent. He got deep and ran hard. Very few of his usual jinking crap runs looking to offload. When he tries to break the line first, he is a weapon.
Herbert was tough in the centres. When they ran at him, he belted them.
Bula finally had a roving fullback game where he tried to inject himself all over the field. Looked dangerous on several occasions. Benji must keep working on this style over the break.

Bula looks more dangerous when he is willing to pass. He needs to learn that passing opens up opportunities for you later in the game, because defenders will hold off on you longer if they think you are a passing option.

Agree - I have no idea what May was doing mid season with his “ball playing” and backing into tackles. Last couple of weeks weeks he has ran hard and straight and made metres like a prop should.
I thought Bula was playing injured but looks to have gotten a bit more confidence lately to take the line on.

Sukkar has really made that second row position his own. It is great to see a young player incrementally improve. It will be great for our depth next year when Pearce-Paul returns.
He is very strong defensively and has kept the right side tight. He and Herbie are the like bash brothers. Both hit hard and stick.
I don’t think he has signed yet either? I wonder if he could play in the middle as well? Could be a handy bench forward that could play 13, 11 or 12 if we needed him to.

3. Terrell
2. Luai
1. Herbert

A bunch of others unlucky in another effort performance, and good to see Benji belatedly calling out the ref/s after that horrible effort.

3. May
2. Api
1. Bula

Playing more gutsy than we did mid season.

KPP, Twal, May, Averillo will add a bit of class.

Hopefully we can add a couple of recruits to further strengthen our top 17. And some depth.

I think we’ll need to roll with Jock at 7 next year, which is a bit of a worry.

Big Sol needs to strip fitter and learn to tackle.

Thought Api played strongly May and Pole also were much improved. Sukkar tried hard as did Seyfarth. Really however I felt an unbiased assessment would place their pack over ours with their middles and Taumalolo running hard and making huge pcms. Their edges also outplayed ours. Bunty did well and ran hard.
Our back 3 were strong and Luai played well and had a dig, Herbert also. Madden was better this week but is still an average option when you look at halves throughout the comp.
