He's not old enough yet ......wait till he is in mid thirtiesMadge doesnt rate AD as a 6 or 7. He thinks he is an outright centre
Would take Burton in a heartbeat but only if it means Douehi is gone. We can't carry both on our roster, way too similar.club will talk to seb kris this week, i heard it was for a train and trial deal
a good source told me also that a david riolo client was shopped to the club to gauge intrest
if i look at the roster at titan sports, burton is the only one that makes sense, think we will have a sniff if it makes it to nov 1
skelton has an offer from parra
Think Parra would have some regret with the Luai signing now, seeing how well Volkman has progressed. So we gonna make a play for Volkman or what? Hopefully we haven’t blown our wad re-signing all of our current crop. We are in desperate need of another 6 or 7 next year and he fits the bill perfectly.
Have we offered or plan to offer Skelton an extension?club will talk to seb kris this week, i heard it was for a train and trial deal

Only issue is salaries I think..Would take Burton in a heartbeat but only if it means Douehi is gone. We can't carry both on our roster, way too similar.
Wouldnt hate:
1. Bula
2. Turuva
3. Averillo
4. Burton
5. May
Have we spoken to Skelton at all , he has been solid , and great back up for reserve grade / Nrl team .club will talk to seb kris this week, i heard it was for a train and trial deal

Volkman in, Doueihi out is good business. So we gonna make a play for Volkman or what? Hopefully we haven’t blown our wad re-signing all of our current crop. We are in desperate need of another 6 or 7 next year and he fits the bill perfectly.
Bizzare comments him saying he likes playing centre not having burden of a 6 asking for less money with those comments loser commentsCheers Kade.
Burton is a cracking centre and an ok 6 but this reeks of using the Tigers to strengthen negotiations with other clubs, my gut is he would have zero interest in coming here. Even if it is not i'm not sure how he fits into the picture considering what his asking price would be...

He recently said he sees himself as a half, however is enjoying playing centre at the moment. Purely saying this because he has been given the script by Gus and Ciraldo. Crichton is horrible at 6 and the only reason he is there is so that Galvin can keep the 7 on his back and play as a 5/8. Burton is an out and out 5/8 and it did not work having them both play the same position. I really don't understand why Ciraldo and Gus didn't just bite the bullet and put sullivan at 7 and Galvin at 6. someone must have a 7 in his contract.Bizzare comments him saying he likes playing centre not having burden of a 6 asking for less money with those comments loser comments
Exactly right, we are not giving the young man a fair chance to succeed and he’s done very well under the circumstances. He's been playing at fullback all season then suddenly we throw him into first grade as a running lock. Imagine never playing a position before and you get thrown into it in first grade.
No other club would do this. We don't know how to develop talent.
This is where the other teams excel and are able to nab players that are on the cusp of breaking out. Wah's have a knack of doing it and so do a few others. Our problem is we want to be a development club and be successful in first grade, you need to catch lightning in a bottle (and keep it trapped) like the Panthers did for this to happen. Storm have done it as well, their long terms success means that players are willing to bide their time in lower grades in order to get a shot.Exactly right, we are not giving the young man a fair chance to succeed and he’s done very well under the circumstances.
Many current NRL regulars were not even thought about as an NRL player at age 21 yet we want to write someone off just because he was good enough tj play NRL at age 19 and has not rapidly developed as well as we would have liked.
We will need to invest in another half next year, just can't see it being Burton on the coin he would likely want. As you say we need some upgrades to the depth in the pack, but I think we probably need another depth choice for centre and a bench utility (if Doueihi throws the toys out again and refuses to do it).Burton plays on Luai side, as a runner with Sammy and May outside him could be a lethal combo.
Would prefer money spent on forwards though but available ones are slim pickings.
