Australian NRL clubs could consider buying or partnering with Super League teams if the NRL takes control of the English competition.

The ARLC has tabled a $57m offer for a 50% stake in Super League, while several NRL clubs are already exploring what opportunities could emerge.

The Roosters have previously considered taking over Salford and rebranding them the “Manchester Roosters”, while Souths, Wests Tigers, Canberra and Melbourne have all expressed varying levels of interest in potential partnerships or investment.

Canberra CEO Don Furner said a partnership could include loaning players to England and bringing Super League juniors into the Raiders’ system.

Seb Kris is Starford Toa all over again. Fantastic on his day, but way too stupid, lazy and inconsistent. If we look at Burton I wonder what position we view him as. I didnt think he would be tough enough for lock, but since moving to the centres he has been quite physical. Maybe Burton at 13 helping our young halves and using his long boot. I would also be ok with him at 6 and Latu at 7. As long as Doueihi is gone

I hope Royce stays - he was great for us, pre injury. I'd like to see Sukkar stay (expect he will) and would even think Bunty and Skelton would be good for our depth however spots are limited.

Heath Mason was terrible, simply terrible.

He's been playing at fullback all season then suddenly we throw him into first grade as a running lock. Imagine never playing a position before and you get thrown into it in first grade.

No other club would do this. We don't know how to develop talent.
