Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

And Perth Bears, Souths, Dragons, Dogs all have various roles up on the site. My guess is that its a requirement of a professional organisations approach. In corporate jobs I will often know who I am going to hire but am still required to advertise for a certain amount of time for transparency. Id imagine this would be the same
How is "In corporate jobs I will often know who I am going to hire" transparency ??

SMH reckons poor Brooks is being shopped
I’m guessing Manly are among quite a few clubs trying to free up salary cap space to make a real play at some of the many big name players currently available for 2028 and beyond.
It will be like a feeding frenzy for the likes of Nathan Cleary, Isaiah Yeo, Liam Martin, Moses Leota, Hudson Young, Tom Dearden, Sam Walker, Herbie Farnworth, Xavier Willison, Hamiso Tania-Fidow just to name a few.
You would imagine Samuela and Latu Fainu will also be in high demand as will Fonua Pole.
Most clubs understand you need a genuine superstar to be a realistic chance of winning a premiership, there I’d say a few clubs will be happy to sacrifice the 2027 season if they can land a big fish or 2 for 2028 and beyond.

Moreso they are trying to re-sign the Large boys & Brooks is in their way. Jake’s on $1.1m they need him to retire for cap space

Don’t see Sam & Latu leaving. Fonua might have to even though it’s his preference to stay

Yes he is a long way off been a 1st pick , his defence is poor and his reading in defence is his biggest problem
What stood out to me was his blank face when strolled over for his 1st try.
Had plenty of space and time to improve his position closer to the posts.
No sense of urgency or emotion. Just a blank look. It should have been instinct to improve the position.
Hope I'm wrong with my perception; but I don't see much improvement forthcoming.
Not a lot of IQ on display.
