Number 1 daughter had her netball teams end of season get together down at Cronulla today. Wife went as well as she was the manager of the team.

It just so happens that the ten year anniversay of the asterix GF winning team was having a re-union at the same venue.

Seems that the wife and daughtrr have crashed that event and have been sending me selfies with said asterix players and ther NRL rings.

They're not home yet. Should I be worried?

I respect the Knights for their incredible achievement in making the GF and hope they smack Man City tomorrow, but I will not be turning on the tv as I know the NRL will not allow Man City to lose just like when they played the Raiders a few years ago.

It’s a complete opposite match up, one side is built up of local boys and a few recruits who were targeted as young kids v a club that feeds off all the other clubs and would appear to be able keep their roster intact without ever having to suffer salary cap pressure.

Anyway the guy with the whistle will be under strict starters orders

Don’t you think the best feel good story for the NRL would be a Knights victory?

Finally home.

Apparently Chris Heighington thinks my wife is a legend.

I can die a satisfied man now. I married a legend

Diesel Hagan on the 6 man bench for the Knights. 19 year old who is yet to debut. If he gets on the field, he’d have to be the first ever player to debut in a grand final, surely?

Wait for it champion @GNR4LIFE

The Eastern Suburbs player who famously played only one first-grade game - which was the 1975 Grand Final - John Rheinberger, who played centre.

(He never played another first-grade game in his career, with his time in the top grade subsequently cut short by a pre-season injury.)

Heart wants Knights to win, head says Roosters will. I honestly think it will be hard for the Knights to back up what they did last week, winning that game with 12 men for the majority of the game was incredible. Crossland is also a huge loss.

A bridge too far against a full strength, in form Roosters? Most likely, but stranger things have happened🤞

Roosters are up there with the most penalised sides in the game.
They will have the ref gunning for them.
Best result for NRL will be Knights win.
If you really believe in conspiracies, Roosters will have to very well to win.

Knights will give it a red hot crack. I don’t buy that last week would have taken anything out of them. It’s a GF, you get up for it no matter what. They have nothing to lose really. Heavy underdogs, but that’s what they were in their two previous GF’s. Of which they are 2/2. And the Roosters have to overcome the 50 point hoodoo as well, so…Watch this space.
