Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Id keep sukkar around, definitely improved this year and we have no depth on the edge, hopefully he can add a bit more impact tho with another off season to bulk up a bit

This Castleford link could be very well a manager ploy to get more $$$ out of the Tigers. Sukkar's manager is none other than Isaac Moses.

Maybe the Roosters would be interested in taking over the contract of our top class, future Dally M winning, team first halfback A.D. and we could use the money to help buy their mediocre, only won a single premiership, not much chop Sam Walker?
It could happen.

Don't think it is even a slight chance. Hugo Savala is too similar a type to AD in style & body type. They already have AD lol

Politis is ruthless

Politis is ruthless

Most successful people are - he made Walker à good offer, but it’s not on the table forever !
Same as Sticky with Hudson Young !
I applaud both of them !

See Mr Sukkar enjoy England need to start moving Isaac influence out from West Tigers.

I wish Benji was as ruthless with ad, but he showed how weak he and the club is by letting him stay. We had more reason to punt him than Politis did

Agreed and it reminds me of when Balmain did the same with Brasher back in the day.

Jigsy … who pays for any team to travel ?

Actually I believe the NRL covers the base costs of travel to standard away games, but that's not necessarily true if you attempt to take two teams overseas.

Surely you can't just move one of your home games at your discretion and compel the opponent to travel to that new location.

Player agents have ruined the game,,,

Walker, obviously on the instruction of his manager, continually said he wants to stay with the rooorters….yet rejects their mega offer…clearly he was always lying uncle nick wont be happy!…

You gotta be careful with the Roosters, they will burn you if they have had enough.

You can't compare what Benji is working with on the field or off when making comparisons with the actions of the Roosters. It's like comparing the haves to the have nots.

Apparently Castleford are looking at Sukkar

Good to have options for Sukkar but I hope the stays at WT. He and Roberts are the upcoming forwards currently as depth (14 through 17) but will push for starting spots either with injury / suspension to the current first choice forwards.

I think Pole will at least wait to see what Stefano does. Stefano seems likely to head to the Roosters based off Triple M podcast last week. That would see the Storm with plenty of cap and roster space to roll out the red carpet for Fonua.

We should be going all out for Pole, he was very very good last year for us and is entering his prime.
I think his appearance on Terrell may podcast was a pretty clear sign he has strong loyalty to WT and would like to stay

I think Pole will stay but you never know until signature on the contract page.

Tbh I still don't think AD will be here round 1 next year.

We need him for depth but if good old Isaak has his way, his price will be over inflated as usual, gawd I can't stand that tick.

There was a rumour circulating a while ago that Robinson wanted to go back and coach in France. As for the Cleary’s, idk. Ivan doesn’t have anything left to prove, and I’m pretty sure he’s taking a role in the background at the Panthers.

He's an old Rooster who do you think uncle Nick would want Good old Dessie?

100 percent agree!!!

Imagine AD trying to pull that move on Bennett, Bellamy or Robinson..He would have been out the door that day, not at the Tigers, come and play 1/2 halfback next week my boy...so weak

Except that Hugo can actually play in the halves. 🤣
