The batsmen who scares me the most is Jansen .....a run a ball 50 or 60 could put the Saffas out of reach

Anything beyond 180 will be tough ....not impossible though

I reckon south africa need 220 to have any chance of defending that

Not necessarily, you knock over Head and Renshaw early your expecting a pretty inexperienced batting line up to win a series on foreign turf , not easy

how good is test cricket though,
it has been a great test match and series
so good and competitive

this new zealand series should be a cracking series too, normally the kiwi's come over here and crap the bed in test series

Yeah the Kiwis without Williamson won't push Australia unless Ravindra fires

im hoping to get $3 for kiwis to win series
will be tough without Williamson
however this aussie team has some.cracks in it, last summer the poms couldn't nail the moments well enough

Not sure the Kiwis batting or bowling will match up well against Australia in Australia

If the Bangas can, anyone can

[happy_tiger]

If the Bangas can, anyone can

Not sure if they can win coming first up at Optus , that will be their best chance
If the 1st Test was at Adelaide ,SCG or MCG different story

[happy_tiger]

Another easy single to get off the mark , driving me nuts

[happy_tiger]

The game is won or lost in the next 15 overs

[Stevec]

As usual last 2 years Lyon no wickets in morning session .He just doesn't spin us to wins lately .
Only morning wicket to Cummins his first in over 360 balls
Pre lunch 1-62 off 28 overs
Since lunch 0-30 off 6 overs
SA 5 -232 ( 132 ahead )
Still good batting wicket
Pity at toss we opted to bat 4th

[Halbrowne61]

We need another Starc like performance with the new ball. If the Proteas weather the storm they shouldn’t lose.

[Stevec]

1st hour after lunch SA 0-55
TODAY 1-117 ( 42 overs )
Not looking good
We might have to bat well on day 5 just to draw the test

[tiger_one]

Rickelton & Mulder are getting South Africa back into this Test Match
South Africa are 267-5
They lead by 167 runs

[GNR4LIFE]

Almost 200 behind and they’re bowling part timers.

[tiger_one]

Aussies on the edge!
A wicketless session and century stand from South Africa has seen the hosts take control on Day 4 in Cape Town.

[tiger_one]

South Africa's lead moves past 200
South Africa are 301-5
They lead by 201 runs

[happy_tiger]

SA 316 for 5

Advantage SA ....

[supercoach]

SA have enough runs for their spinner to have a real shot at us. Renshaw and Head are our big hope, but for me SA will win this by a few, our batting is shaky at the best of times
