    Alex Seyfarth #232

Yeah, I think it's a confidence thing, it would be hard for some fullbacks to be fully committed when tackling some of these big powerful guys. Add a bit of bulk, work hard on it and gain a bit of confidence. It's the same for his attack, he's not the sort of fullback to be bouncing off guys...

Yeah, I'm not sure either, I have never seen KPP 'whack' anyone yet, I'm sure he has but not often. You know Seyfarth will put his body on the line for a hit. Just mucking around. Sione can give people a whack though, and his brother.

Who would you rather be one on one tackled by? Who would hurt more and who is more effective? KPP or Seyfarth?

    Alex Seyfarth #232

The good thing about Seyfarth is that he at his 'sweet spot' regarding his age and experience. And he always puts in, there's a fair chance he'll be an improved player next year. And it seems to be, he is a good person to have around the team.

    2026 NRL Draw

This is a joke and disappointing. Please check if I'm wrong but to compound the round 1 bye we got in 2024 we had another in round 26, meaning we had 1 bye in the window that 15/16 clubs got all 3. Time to write to the NRL, an explanation is owed.

I loved the footy back then as well, but I have to say the last couple of years has seen the game go to another level. Yeah a different game but IMO the current game has plenty of skill, athleticism, speed and toughness and is second to no other game on the planet.

Yeah disappointing, we are desperate for a high level forward, still hoping. We are banking on our players going to the next level.......which they could do. Pole, Fainu brothers, KPP have the attributes to get to another level. Maybe Seyfarth, Sukkar and Hope.

Wests Tigers Deep Dive of the Week

Thanks mate, great analysis. I like Twal starting at lock, I don't we can afford a 'lighter' player at the start of the game. We struggle to win the play the ball as it is, so we need as much strength and size as possible. And I think Douhi is our best bet at half, he has all the attributes and...

    OFFICIAL Kai Pearce-Paul

That's true, so to put him in the class of the Aussie pack or Pacifics are drawing a long. No doubt an upgrade, though.

Sorry, I must of missed it. You said he's better the a couple of international hookers. I haven't seen where you have said he is a better player then someone from the other four international packs and their reserves. He's going to make our team better but going on his stats and performances...

Relax man. To me, atm, KPP is only an international by name but not ability. Go and have a look at his PCM and tackle bust stats compared to these other guys? He isn't better the any of the players, I have mentioned, starting and/or coming of the bench and that's over thirty players. Which...

Not criticising him, he never was at the class of these other guys but it just highlights that we need to do better with our recruiting. I know people live in hope but and people think he's international class but I disagree, that's all.

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

People are saying the argument is flawed when looking at KPP's international standing, I just don't think he's in the same level as the reserves list of the other international teams. Yes he's an international by definition but that's it. He's not a middle but wonder what his tackle bust or PCM...

Yeah fine but to consider him 'international' class, is somewhat laughable. I just listed the bench players for the other team and they are much better then KPP. We are in trouble. May is the closest thing we have to an international.

As mentioned before, 'Papallii, yes, much better. Sasagi, probably not but he has outperformed KPP this year'. You forgot to mention Naufahu Whyte, Xavier Willison, Erin Clark, Felise Kaufusi, Siua Wong, Simi Sasagi, Francis Molo and Koloamatangi, Reuben Cotter, and Lindsay Collins. Yeah he's...
