    Plans for Christmas '21

Good luck to all those travelling. I hope you dont have to wait too long for the PCR tests, (the queues in my area are reportedly many hours - some have even been there more than a hour before testing opened and still had to come back the next day). I hope if you get stuck somewhere, it's not...

I've read some of your posts, and you have a lot of good points mate, a lot of good ideas. Maggie is just trying to keep the peace. (I always picture @MAGPIES1963 in my mind with a big friendly smile on his face.) It's all good mate.

Anasta, scandal, sacking Not the first three words I saw, and hopefully not to do with WT, but three words maybe related nonetheless.

There's no point in conversing with someone who has your attitude. So I will leave it there.

    Coronavirus Outbreak

Like everyone mate, I have many things in my life I'm trying to juggle. I dont have the energy to blame people for possibly affecting covid being more deadly. I do think not getting vaccinated is not helping, but so is a hundred other things a lot of us do in this world. And Im not the ruler of...

    Coronavirus Outbreak

It may not be intended, but that attitude comes across like you don't care if others get sick and die. You could be doing something to help the community at large, but you are choosing not to? That sounds like the attitude that gives people who don't choose to vaccinate a bad reputation, and is...

    Coronavirus Outbreak

Im actually amazed there isnt more of a blame game being played with where this disease came from. Im not saying blame should be attributed, Im just amazed people are not focusing on it, is all.

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

It's strange isn't it? I remember reading on here somewhere (and I agreed with it) that the 'six again' rule change would be good for us (for Liddle and Brooks). It certainly didn't turn out that way. Is Hastings good at fifth tackle options? If Hastings takes control, then hopefully it only...

    Coronavirus Outbreak

Mate, there was an idea on this forum earlier today (in this thread?, no it was the NZ smoking thing) about a possible sugar tax being put on unhealthy foods. And I've heard that before somewhere. They are thinking about it. Yes you should get a discount for being healthy with insurance...

    Coronavirus Outbreak

I think the mindset is it's more when the unvaccinated people catch covid, they will likely get sicker, use more hospital beds, and put more of a strain on the system, resulting in less other people (vaccinated or not) being able to access those services (for covid or not) and therefore being at...

    Coronavirus Outbreak

By my understanding, the vaccine is all about minimising the deadliness of the disease when you catch it, and maybe to minimise you spreading it as well. It doesn't prevent you from catching it in the first place.

    Coronavirus Outbreak

How do you figure? If vaccinated people are spreading the disease because they're out and about, aren't the non-vaccinated people doing the same thing?

    Nick Cotric - Thread

Wouldn't it be funny (/cruel) if it turns out Cotric goes to Roosters or somewhere like that. Good for him, good for Roosters, bad for the rest of the comp.

    Coronavirus Outbreak

This post isn't directed to anyone in particular, it is just a thought I had and thought it may be beneficial to share. At the forefront in the to-vaccinate-or-not-to-vaccinate question for (at least some) people is social responsibility and personal freedom. There are other factors, including...
