I don’t know much at all about politics but for this team the fundamental question I think is “at what point do govts / institutions (NRL) start caring about the clubs/ppl?” Like at what point does accumulated failure, declining support, or external pressure force the people running the system...

And the same negative consequences are very likely for the Perth bears too- both the clubs structure , its environment will be causal factors but the biggest variable is the NRL and its inability to support its clubs.

I might get burned for this post but please don’t take offense … and I haven’t posted on the forum for a while…so just my thoughts.. I did a lot of thinking (for once 😅) and you’re right re HBG being a cog ⚙️ which has caused problems for the team. imho upstream issue sits front and centre on...
