LIVE GAME Round 3 vs. Sharks

Live Game Discussion
I can envisage Latu Fainu coming onto the interchange in the place of Sullivan. No way will Galvin move to the forwards. If anything he'd be more likely to move to centre to allow Fainu to 6 but that won't happen now as Olam and Faataape form a very sold combination.

Watched the Kayo replay late last night and now after reading through everyone’s posts here I think it’s all been said very well.
Unbelievably happy for all the players and staff and soooooo good to be a Tigers tragic today!!!
Incredible to see the difference in the team performance when every player plays with intent, heart and effort like that. The Sharks simply couldn’t rise to our level yesterday.
We are probably going to have some ups and downs and inconsistent efforts over the season, especially if injuries occur, however I am going to soak up that game and thoroughly enjoy the feeling!! Go the Tiges!!!!

I need to eat humble pie re Olam . I thought Olam had lost his heart before he came to us but what a wonderful performance last night.
Galvin is a natural footballer & love his confidence & Benj is just the man to encourage his instinctive play.
Bula a star , Api terrific & with Sezers control & nouse finally we have multiple points of attack. All the rest of the team did their job & held up their end. For the first time in a long time we have a solid basis to build on. Just need to stay injury free!

Think the talk about Olam being forced to play injured by Melbourne may be true, he looks fit again

Just back from the game. 17 players had a real dig tonight. The line speed was great, they hit hard and hit often and that was what won the game. Standout were API and Sezer, API schemed and probed all night and Sezer‘s kicking game strangled the Sharks out of the game. Just hope they can build off this game
A controlled kicking game that strangled the Sharks out of game - music to my ears! How long has it been since we’ve seen that from one of our halves? Happy that Brooks is going well and being used properly by Manly, but it makes his success a lot easier to swallow if we can have some success of our own with our new half performing well. I was always hoping that the parting of our ways with Brooks would be mutually beneficial.

Another 22 tackles for Lachie and 0 missed. For an 18 year old his defence this far has really held up. Think that's 22 and 0 last 2 weeks. Kids definitely built for first grade
Watching his lateral movement when defending it is exceptionally good which eliminates the pressure on Olam having too many 3 on 2 scenarios to deal with.

I'm with you on Olam - I was and wrong and happy to admit it.😆

I wonder if the NRL spoke to the ref’s boss and told them to give them a fair go. I can’t remember us ever getting so many close calls. Not saying we did not deserve the calls, but in games gone past we probably would have got half those calls. Just highlights how much officals influence the momentum of games. It also could be argued that you earn fifty calls by dominating play

We have unearthed a new journalist in the NRL. A genius in fact. Remember this name. James Dampney. News.Com.Au. You want the truth. You want the facts. No nonsense- spot on journalism with an eye for detail. Look no further. This is your man. Let me give you a snippet of his article this morning....enjoy....

"One of the rarest scenes in rugby league broke out at Leichhardt Oval during the Tigers’ home clash with Cronulla on Saturday night.

As even casual NRL fans know, the poor old Tigers have been a basket case for almost every season of the joint-venture club’s existence outside that distant 2005 premiership........."
