Rugby league history

Summons played Test rugby union in 1958 and 1959, before signing with Western Suburbs for the 1960 league season. He played only seven top-grade games in his first season in his new code but the following year played for NSW and Australia and was in the Wests team beaten by St George in the grand final.

Oh I only wish I made it to the top.
My (very very non-event minimal) claim to fame is I played for Wests Magpies in the 4 stone 7s.
And if I'm holding onto that, I have a problem..... :ROFLMAO:
Was that when you played in the weight knockout day in the Wests junior league comp and as the winner went on to represent Wests in the interdistrict comp? I did that with my club team. I was so proud to wear to black and white jersey.

It would have been about that time champion @coivtny, but all I can remember is we were beaten by Souths.
And YES, I was so so so proud to wear the black and white jersey too.
Never did like the bunnies since.... ;)

Now would you look at that, the great Hal Brownes autograph( amongst others).
More great memories.
Here's the link to Hal on Facebook. Send him a friend request.
