Ive always thought he was going, so Im not as fussed as others about him leaving immediately....However, now its getting juicy.

At this point Tuck we have only lost one of them,
Let’s not go into panic stage yet.

The ease with which we lost that guy is the concern. I dont trust those in charge of player retention.

There is a shortage of running / supporting hookers in the game atm.
With 2 more teams coming he has no shortage of options and will get paid as well.
He isn’t close to Api level atm but has potential to be at that level in a few years. It’s a tough position for the club.

Yes it is, but he's not that good in my opinion. And we are being asked to take a punt on potential - he has proved nothing and wants us to flick Api and slide into starting 9?
He's not bad...just not amazing. If he is that fantastic, he would stay and push Api out of a spot and Api would have to come off the bench. He's not prepared to do that, so adios...
Eels would welcome him with open arms

His position here is done.
No matter what he said or did or didn’t he just won’t have anyone’s trust at the club now.
My fear is that Richo and Benji have already wiped this season and are looking, once again, to the future. I reckon we might get some decent signings for next season or the season after, but nothing for the rest of this season. We will just have to limp along with what we have now after turds Moses, Galvin and the media have successfully destabilised the club, yet again.
Enthusiasm can only take a team so far, without the cattle we can’t expect much improvement from where we are now, imo. This recurring situation shits me no end, always waiting for next year, things will improve next season blah, blah. My only hope for this season now lost is, as I’ve mentioned before, that we don’t come last again. I’m concerned that it’s going to be a real heart thumper end to the season for us trying to avoid the spoon again.

But he doesn't want to do the grind, he wants it all and he wants it now. I wouldn’t be surprised if he and I Moses petition the NRL just to award the premiership to the Dogs with meathead as CCM winner.

Yeah , mate , I’m not judging him, just having a laugh really .. it’s a big story in the US .. I admit I did not word it very well.. still reeling from the lack of signings , the seeming rejection of Taylan May and the search party being put together for wherever the hell Richo has disappeared to since last I heard “Lachlan Galvin was contracted to the club for till 27 and we will be holding him to it” .. now it’s radio silence from Richo and we are trying to operate with what feels like a squad of 15 of which 9 are genuine first graders …I’ve been a huge supporter and fan of Richo but I am really starting to worry .. I hope he proves my fears wrong and real soon !

I hear you on the lack of signings …I don’t want them to sign guys for the sake of it … but they are looking for players to fill out the bottom of the squad to provide a bit of depth as well as a few better guys that you might have to pay some decent money too …surely they could do something about improving the depth which is relatively low risk and short term?

The whole problem is the NRL transfer system that they do not have the balls to fix.
I understand long term roster planning, but having to choose between am aging veteran and the young buck more than 18 months before the 1st game of any contract will take effect is ridiculous.
The NRL should have a transfer window which opens after the season where the contract ends.
The reality is that it doesn't matter when players are allowed to negotiate as none of the managers follow the rules & the NRL don't enforce them.

I brought this up on the weekend he will have a lot of trust to earn.
Romey and Apis mates at the dogs would know whats going on... youd have to be on mars not to...
Theyve been going pretty good at Belmore and now some upstart waltzes in...ive no doubt thered be a few sideways glances.
