How we persisted with Brooks at halfback for so long is mind boggling. His kicking game is trash. He is a decent runner of the ball, but rarely makes line breaks.
Yep as soon it happened I said Luke Brooks special. We’ve had a few guys who seem intent on denting the advertising hoardings. Our current coach for one.

Manly are susceptible to a player coming back on the inside shoulder of DCE. They push hard with their inside pressure so it is difficult to overcome the momentum of that effort. That play Luai put on Critta will work well agaisnt Manly.
Really? They have had 8 sets of 6 on the Canberra line and only Koula brilliance has got them something.
Bullemor is killing it though. Would of been a good pick up

Well they seemed to be rolling up the field pretty well, just had trouble cracking Canberra’s goal line defence. Certainly playing better than recent games. Things have changed dramatically now though. Canberra must’ve been in 3rd gear.

They look pretty ordinary right now. I’d be pretty pessimistic about the future if I were a Manly fan. There’s a lot about them that reminds me of us in recent years and it’s not just the players who’ve ended up there. Isaac Moses is going to ruin them.
