The decision to remove the people behind the good results ( on and off the field) and make things untenable for Richo has everything to do with them ..

We had an independent board in 2025 and an experienced CEO in Richo so to answer your question HBG don’t get credit for good results in 2025.

So you think HBG had nothing to do with any NRL decisions over the past 12 months and every decision was made by the Independent Board without them being involved even though they had 2 representatives on the Independent Board ?
Further tj that is it your belief HBG deliberately want Wests Tigers to fail and if so, what is your theory as to why that would be the case ?
Do you honestly think there is even a 1% chance the NRL club could be rebranded as Westsrn Suburbs Magpies ?

they are the ones claiming they weren’t consulted & the one year they weren’t we had our best year. says it all really

If the directors have been shafted for no valid reason, I think they've gone too far this time and could be headed for trouble, all the signs are there with talk of legal action been taken

As for the Denny heat in the media it will be curtains for him as a director anywhere you would think, looks like his magpie is cooked, be interesting to know who leaked that only fans stuff to the media.

There are some requirements the NRL imposes around the granting of licences. From what I can gather, they are commercial in confidence, but there is reference to governance there.

It's not a silver bullet though, but without the NRL on the fans side, any movement against HBG is limp. Definitely need NRL on side to get anywhere.

Other clubs should look up to the HBG and put them on a pedestal...

It’s wholly and solely about Richo and the cosy arrangement he had with BOF for pushing approvals through that needed much more scrutiny.

If your source is on the board and he’s told you what happened in a board meeting then he should get the boot immediately.
You are not allowed to do that if you are a director and I’ve seen board presidents booted for having loose lips.

Mate it doesn't matter what we think it's what the HBG head honchos think and there is more than enough to suggest that they and their Magpie fanatics want the Magpies reinstated in the competition and whether they are successful or not - the damage that it is doing now is detrimental to this club moving forward as WTs

Turning on Richardson is single handly the dumbest dimwitted move that they have ever made and they are receiving support from no one over this, apart from the old rusted ons that prioritise the Magpies over anything associated with WTs.

In case you forgot, Richo didn’t want Taylan May and had to be virtually forced to sign him.
Luai signed because of Be ji, not because of Richo.
Yes Richo has earned plenty of respect over the years, but he’s now an old man, has stated himself he won’t be around for more than a couple of years due to his age and he is not the only CEO who can get the job done.
The HBG spokesperson publically backed Richo, but now it’s rumoured to be certain they have the ones who have referred him to NRL investigation.
If he has done nothing wrong the NRL investigation will confirm it.
If the Independent Board has done nothing wrong the NRL will confirm it.
If HBG have caused all this latest commotion for no good reason the NRL will confirm it.
Once again you are making but you have all the answers when you know nothing.

It has not been proven they have turned on Richo.
Yes I agree it’s probably more than 50% likely, but their spokesperson has publically backed him, so it’s not factual to say they have turned on him,
What I don’t understand is so many people saying they will still back him or BOF if they are proven guilty of unethical conduct,
If the NRL clears them of any wrongdoing doing, then there is reason for this unwaivered support.
