This is solely my opinion only,,, not based on anything that is not already in the public domain,,,but i think this is the do or die move for some of the cronies on the HBG board to realise their ultimate agenda … the moves made to fire the independent board which they knew would lead to Richo’s exit, and the weak explanations presented to justify it , can not be explained otherwise IMO..

On something fundamental like our structure, I believe we do. That's what Richo was all about and why people are incredibly frustrated about his departure. He knew how to set a clear strategy, backed by data, and get the maximum support to go and implement it. We haven't seen that ever in our existence.

As to HBG. It should be a unifying issue, because the results of their incompetence have spread over 15 years. The data is clear, and all they had to do was keep their hands off. They couldn't even do that.

We can debate the magpies in state cup, or on the sleeve etc., but it should be completely irrelevant to this, unless we need this HBG debenture group to cling onto power to do so. Which I don't believe we do. It's really dumb business to alienate supporters.

Just to try to understand @BZN and @Bus 2 Terrigal - Is your fear that if the debenture holders are moved to a more democratic structure, that things like Magpies in NSW cup would be removed? Or the magpie on the sleeve?

Let’s face it? If you’re PVL in this moment, you’d have one question on your mind..what would convince HBG Magpies to commit to organisational development?
If he can’t find the answer to that question, then it’s more of the same.

All you, the bus driver and died ugly have done is try to instigate a Balmain v Wests discussion in every post you make.

The bus driver can't even bring himself to call the club Wests Tigers.

If you want to distract from the real issues at the club, be my guest, but don't come here making out like you give a rats about the WT moving forward.

99% of people here just want a club free from inept management and constant false starts. New owners would be a great start, but then you couldn't blame Balmain agendas if that happened could you?

At the end of the day, one controlling entity is far better for us going forward. The trouble is the power is held amongst 20 people with their own competing agendas.

This wouldn't be an issue if the club was run with accountable leadership.
