Are you still waiting for more evidence to justify HBG’s decision to remove the independents?

People can make an offer at any time.

Just have to find someone to offer enough to make them look.

These debenture holders want their returns at some point, right?

Just got off the phone with him. Seemed genuine.

Explained that I have no problem with the club, my problems are solely with the dysfunctional HBG board making decisions. The lack of stability and infighting in that group directly impacts on employment, decision making and direction in the club. Today's announcement doesn't change anything as the HBG leaders making that decision will likely be gone & banned in 6 months anyway, when they turn on themselves.

He did say within the building things are strong and the team are unified & buoyed by the fans passion around recent events and do not feel any anger directed towards the team.

Current refund policy obviously does not cover the recent upheaval, they are reviewing the policy and expect to be done by February, at which point they will come to members.

Every owner believes they are competent.

Every leader thinks they are doing the right thing.

Every villain is convinced they are the hero.

They are the majority owners. They think they are doing the right thing.

So it was Richo gone and control back in their own hands independents means squat now, I liked Richo but you never know what things were like behind closed doors. The Chammas quote about many in the front office seeing him go sort of makes you at least have a thought about how harmonious things were.

Anyhow iam ok with Shaun Mielekamp having his time to do what he does living on the Coast you always heard around the traps how highly he was thought of at his time with the Mariners.

What inside information are you sitting on over there?

The beginning of what? Who is stepping in to 'fix it' now that the boss of the whole NRL....didn't fix it the way you liked?

If you want to sell something you have to make it known, can't expect interested parties to show up flashing wads of cash, anyway Laundy has expressed interest without the for-sale sign.
