It’ll be interesting to see which side gets named this afternoon. There was talk earlier of a few forwards coming down from QLD, but I’m not sure that’s still happening.

Potentially are. Just have to see how the combos go early on. Lele a bottom-ager too but plenty of wraps.
Our 6 and 7 both have big potential, but whether they can step up and be dominant playing SG Ball a year young remains to be seen.

True and from what I saw in the latest trial Lele needs to work on his defence too.
A lot of talented young players struggle with the step up from Harold Matthews to SG Ball mainly due to them not physically developing as fast as some of the others.

going to be a bloody tough match first up. Bamblett, Talagi and Fletcher are all certified stars of the future. if we can go within 12 points I'll be happy.

Not sure Tyler Birnie is with the club anymore. I also think Kanaan will start at fullback. If they’re smart, they’d at least have Karnib on the wing, but who knows.
Jerry Leau and Ocean Vaivela are the two to watch for mine. Ocean in particular stood out in last year’s Wests Tigers development games.

Bamblett is a super talent running the ball, but I've seen him get riled up a few times.
The kid is a match winner but can be a hothead (much like Chevy Stewart when he played reps at Cronulla).
And having not seen Talagi for 12 months - Id hate to think how big he is now

if we can get Pheonix to single him out we'll go a long way towards remaining in the contest. big test for CTM up against Ryda. he's a special talent. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Lincoln Fletcher was only 19 this year. not fair on the rest of the comp.
The Eels are close to favourites to win the 2026 SG Ball competition, so I’m sure we will name a strong team to try and compete with them.
Players such as CTM and Phoenix Godinet should now be capable of dominating at this level.

Think this Tigers team can cause some damage despite earlier comments. A few forwards in their 2nd year of Ball now.

I’ve always been a fan of Isdale, so I’m glad to see him back in our system. That said, it was a bit of a surprise given he was still part of the Sharks squad only a few weeks ago.
He definitely makes a big difference, although he’ll be playing behind a much smaller forward pack. I’m assuming Vaivela and Leau are the injuries Bronson was referring to.
Hopefully they can jag a win this week, and with the round 2 bye, both should be back by round 3. If that happens, who knows what could follow
