Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Will Penisini would be great, but he’s another Isaac Moses client, so it would be hard to make that happen.
I’ve said many times that Jake Averillo would be a huge upgrade on To’a and he has the added bonus of being a very good backup fullback if/when required.
I thought that Averillo would be a good get as well but after watching him play more his defence is on par with Toa's . Shocking defender.

Potentially a reliable but unremarkable player or two could be afforded. I don't have any suggestions but the Corey Jenson, Euan Aitken, Connor Tracey style of players. I think we would need to find them in reserve grade as well we obviously can't sell them guaranteed starting spots.
James Schiller currently at the Knights would most likely be looking for a better opportunity as he is currently stuck behind the Knights starting centres/wingers and also behind the very talented Fletcher Hunt who is the first call up if they get an injury to their centres/wingers.
He is NRL experienced, always dominates NSW Cup and is a big, tall, strong and fast right sided player.
His issue has always been his defence, but even on a bad day he defends better than To’a.
His attack which includes lightning speed, tackle break ability and very good aerial ability is miles ahead of To’a.

Mavrik replacement
Jordan Samrani is big enough and strong enough to play edge back row, but he is fast s ough to get the job done and be a very da heroes attacking weapon as a centre or winger.
It’s crazy why he not permanently in the Eels NRL team and he would be an upgrade on Skelton if the Eels were silly enough to consider that swap.
In saying all of this I’m not sure what Skelton has done wrong, much more confident of us winning every time he plays.
If the Eels would swap Samrani for To’a that wound be much better for us, but I’m sure they are not that stupid.
