2027 Las Vegas NRL season opener

You're very right theoretically but at the end, the Board Members of HBG, half of them debunture holders are the ones given the task to allocate funds. You can only play the hand that you are dealt and this is the hand that feeds you so you gotta kiss its arse too.
Oh my lord, does this include Dennys, bloody Nora it's tough being a interim CEO.

The nrl selling packages for Vegas
Chartered flight/hotel/tickets for $4799

the hotel for 5 nights will cost you more than the flight …direct flight to Vegas is handy … does Qantas do that these days? Haven’t been there for a while

Just had a qick look you can do 4 night in a 3 star joint for under 800.

I believe its all the extras food drink that add to the cost quite expensive.

Nrl charters are a rip off...book it yourself or thru an agent in Oz much cheaper

Quik look again there is direct flights seem to be about 1000 more than flight with a 13 hour layover in LA...probanly better deals i didnt go right into it

You are probably right ..it will be cheaper to organise yourself ..but hotel quality and location are important ..the game only goes half a day and you want to be in the action out of on the strip rather than staying down town IMO…even though it’s cheaper ..

Mates went this year to see Dogs play they enjoyed it but Vegas is massive rip . $8 USD for water or 17 USD to fee to withdraw from atm
that’s where you trip up . Have tot take cash over there . Or pay via credit card . Gotta find the right atm with a connection back to your bank . I haven’t been there for 16 years so I’m assuming atms are few and far between now , but that was the go when I was there . Or travellex / western union . Go to any regular atm over there and you’re asking for trouble .

There are many reasons I hate the US, however tipping would have to be close to the top. Been there regularly for work, way down the list of places I would go for a holiday.

You only have to tip because management in the USA refuse to pay a liveable wage to their employees.Capitalism at its most extreme worst, the USA is all about making rich people richer and keeping the majority as close the poverty line as possible so they can be exploited.

exactly and the ridiculous thing is that the price of a meal there (before you tip) is not too different to what we pay in Australia and we have a higher minimum wage and don't force customers to tip in order to provide staff with a "living" wage.
