Josh Schuster #

Doueihi has halfback wrapped up, what's needed more desperately is another outside back, second rower/prop, back up 5/8.
All agreed except the backup 5/8 bit.

With Luai/AD/Madden around we really don't need more coverage here.
We do need a true halfback and we have seen with an Average halfback in Madden what a difference it has made to the team.

Schuster needs to get the message clear, you are going to the front row. Muscle up and get ready to tackle.

Has Benji said he will be here next year, or is it all speculation that he will be here for 2027. I only read it was for this year in KOE.
Anyway good on the young fella for trying to get his life back on track.

I watched Benji’s interview and he said that he spoke with Josh and by the sounds of it they had an open and honest conversation. While I admire Benji for giving Josh a lifeline, the message should also be 30 tackles, 100+ meters at a minimum per game. The line break and try assist can come after that. Work
hard as the priority and the other things can follow.

Maybe, and whilst I would have agreed with many that Josh's future was on an edge or a ball-playing lock role, this Schuster is the fit 97kg version that burst onto the footy scene, not the long gone 110-120kg odd one with other issues.

The current Adam and Josh are similar in stature and could shift between roles, but when on song, Josh can properly engage the line and thus the better halves player.

He isn't the type of player to make 30 tackles and 100+ metres
