They’ve missed the finals once in 12 years … they’re consistent I gotta give it to them.

1 premiership and 3 preliminary final appearances in that time is pretty damning though.. they definitely get the yips come finals time.
I’d trade 3 wooden spoons, half a dozen 9th place finishes and zero finals in 15 years for 11 finals appearances with the yips any day 😂

Roosters attack bog average. Completely dominated possession against injury decimated Melbourne.
Yeah I’m not sure if the Roosters are playing badly or Melbourne’s defence is just too good. They are playing out of their skin with half their team missing. We could learn a lot from them.

Wet weather is the great leveller. It takes away pace and evasion.
It's why the Broncos and Melbourne were able to hang in their games.
That plus the lack of 6 agains that's been the trend lately. The NRL is actively trying to construct closer games. It's why the Bulldogs are competitive again.

I really, really hate the 6 agains. Wish the NRL would get rid of it.

There's too many been given and some leave you scratching your head, some are soft and the more blatant ones let go not providing an even contest.

This really hurts teams with an injury toll with the next man up players not able to handle the pressure of repeated 6 agains.

How often do you see the team giving away too many end up been flogged, they should bring more penalties back into the game to slow it down a bit, that might even more games up and reduce the injury toll.

Lopsided games are a punish to watch.

Yep. They definitely called for a shift around the time we were flying. Too many blow outs for their liking.
