While the NRL has always been uneven, V'Landy ball has resulted in bigger and more common blowouts. The mooted change to the kick off rule may restore some balance by helping teams claw back momentum.

More then a point a minute, crazy to do that for the full length of the game.
Hopefully it was more that the Cowboys had a really off night than the Roosters brilliance.

The blow outs will be the norm in the next few years. PVL football, to many teams, lack of playing talent, to long of a season and bog average refereeing all adds up to blow outs.

I feel a bit sorry for the Cowboys but it is overshadowed by my relief that our 62 nil belting is now well and truly put in the shade!
