OFFICIAL Jarome Luai - #295

Once Latu is back I would have him at 7 and Javon at 6, Luai left centre and AD right centre, Turuva right wing and Maka left wing. Before Latu is back I would play Jerome at 7 and Javon at 6. AD cannot be 7 he needs to either play right centre or 13 off the bench.
Sounds perfectly logical TE, so therefore unlikely in Benjis world !

Up there with with Anasta, Ballin & Blair for mine....

Nah hes worse, Luai is the WORST signing we have ever made. The money vs output ion the field, and having a hand in blowing up both of our seasons. And his stupid quotes he always renegs on. The [This word has been automatically removed] is the worst signing ever and has basically left us where we started

Careful, you will upset the low IQ circle jerk group here, who will defend him to the end, blinded by the bro talk.
Who are they? He doesn’t have any support left at this club. And he has to take the cake for worst signing. Not just cos of the pay packet, but the expectation that came with it. Coming off 4 consecutive premierships, understandably people bought into the idea he was capable of turning the club around. No player previously has had that thrust upon him on signing with this club.

And of course, Ivan didn’t fight for him to stay ! That said something in itself, he weeded out several who wanted more money than they were worth eg Crichton, Burton, Luai, Korosau etc.

Balin is the worst signing club ever made, it was done to replace Robbie and ballin was busted and managed 2 games
well done taylor

If we weren't playing the Roosters Penrith and the Cowboys at home there might be some merit for not playing Luai but putting youngsters in that are likely going to face three hammerings is not fair on them.
He needs to be there till the bitter end. Id say he would happily sit it out rather than play in those games.

Yep let him feel, the pain all the way to the rotten end , young guys thrown in will not do them any good , Solo was bashed in tackles yesterday , it’s what happens , he was just lucks to get 2 tries , he will be feeling it today but get past the loss due to his tries , play him again next week I think be ok if we don’t have any options , but Luai you don’t give him the easy way out , all though depends on who our reserve grade are playing maybe he can play there and get beat by 50 , same same

Yea don’t burn the young blokes with these big scores let ad and Luai cop the cricket scores, let the young blokes build confidence in reggies

I reckon Jarome is 💯 trying.
The energy he is playing with is decent, it’s just he is not the quality of player that we expected him to be.
He simply does not have the quality to lift a struggling team, but will always play well when surrounded by quality players.
Unfortunately for us when spending 1.2 million out of our salary cap, we need a player with the qualities to be capable of lifting a struggling team.
Not quite the same money, but not far off, we now have Jahream and Terrell who also do not have the qualities to lift a struggling team.

I believe this to be true - he had no idea what he was walking into. It can break most players

Obviously the individual is to blame but that missed tackle. Man, I've never seen him get even close to being this bad at Penrith or Samoa or NSW.
