OFFICIAL Jarome Luai - #295

If we weren't playing the Roosters Penrith and the Cowboys at home there might be some merit for not playing Luai but putting youngsters in that are likely going to face three hammerings is not fair on them.
He needs to be there till the bitter end. Id say he would happily sit it out rather than play in those games.
Yep let him feel, the pain all the way to the rotten end , young guys thrown in will not do them any good , Solo was bashed in tackles yesterday , it’s what happens , he was just lucks to get 2 tries , he will be feeling it today but get past the loss due to his tries , play him again next week I think be ok if we don’t have any options , but Luai you don’t give him the easy way out , all though depends on who our reserve grade are playing maybe he can play there and get beat by 50 , same same

Yea don’t burn the young blokes with these big scores let ad and Luai cop the cricket scores, let the young blokes build confidence in reggies

I reckon Jarome is 💯 trying.
The energy he is playing with is decent, it’s just he is not the quality of player that we expected him to be.
He simply does not have the quality to lift a struggling team, but will always play well when surrounded by quality players.
Unfortunately for us when spending 1.2 million out of our salary cap, we need a player with the qualities to be capable of lifting a struggling team.
Not quite the same money, but not far off, we now have Jahream and Terrell who also do not have the qualities to lift a struggling team.

I believe this to be true - he had no idea what he was walking into. It can break most players
