Thanks mate . Very much proved my point. Roosters way ? Find the best outside back under 25 and offer him market value plus an apartment in Bondi . Shit club…. Just won the geographic lottery .

He was a very solid player, absolutely. He let no one down and would be a valuable addition to all top 17s. However your player of the year should not be a solid prop who makes 120m and 30 tackles every week, it should be someone who wins you matches on a regular basis and makes a real difference.
I explained that. Colours are challenging for trademark registration and Richmond and us have been using Tigers for decades before trademarks existed
Yep saw the same.
Played half back in NZ Warriors Flegg side.
Looks to be an out & out 7.
It’s like we are stocking up on half’s because we they will stop being produced.

A quick google tells me that Trademark laws have been around since 1905. Balmain Tigers were founded in 1908.
If we look at something more recent, the Auckland Blues were founded in 1996 to launch the super rugby competition. They are competing in the same market as the NSW Blues.
They are throwing their toys out of the cot because their game is dying. They should be scared, not of the PNG Chiefs, but the NZ Warriors. If anything, their panic draws more people's attention to the NRL.

No, you put forward your opinion and then told me that the Mortimers and the Hughes family are somehow comparable. That proves you have no idea what you’re talking about.

They will upgrade the facility, just like Leichhardt is being upgraded now, and then Campbelltown after that.
Direct your question to Brookswest not me. He / she brought this up.

Another alt account steps up to make a personal attack.
At least have the guts to use your regular name you coward.
Mainly, because when they ( the above 2 examples) were established they were not in competing markets. The media revolution has made the market smaller hence now they are in competition for share!
The problem there is that the ‘Canterbury Rugby Union ‘ commenced in the 1880s and has been known as the Blues for decades The Auckland Blues are a Franchise of the same organisation

I personally dont think the Waikato Chiefs compete with the PNG chiefs at all. There is no super rugby competition in PNG. Chiefs fans in NZ arent going to just start following the PNG chiefs because of the name. And how many members do the Waikato chiefs have in Australia?
Sport is global. If they had a decent brand they wouldn't be having a sook.
