For me the early rounds showed that we have a lot of points in us (even without Moltz at 7). Tonight showed me that we can defend our line with gusto. We were buggered in the second half and our attack suffered badly. The real test comes next week.

yea let's blame Sheens for the loss. this loss came down to one thing…we had no petrol in the tank after defending with so much vigor for the entire first half.

I stopped reading at the part where you say Ellis is poor in attack…He regularly bends the line putting the opposition defence on the back foot, he can offload and he knows how to hit a hole.

Are people forgetting about Robert Lui???? The kid played well in the opening rounds and i believe his perfroamnces were undervalued due to the fact so many people wanted Moltzen in the 7\. When Lui comes back i am confident we will be more fluid in attack…he did train all off season in the role.

Im no fitzy fan but he defended well tonight whilst the game was on the line. In attack no one in our side looked any good.

I think you're being tough on Payten too. Toddy is one of if not our best ruck defender. He makes good solid first up contact and rarely lets the man get past him. He also adds another dimension to our attack with his ability to play before the line and also play down the blind side.
