Farah in doubt to tackle Panthers

My guess Sheens will make the final call and being round 7 will be very reluctant to play him. If it was round 20 he would probably make a different call. Misses this week game followed by the chooks game the following week and than the bye will give him a month to recover is probably the way Sheens will see it.

Our chances this week are slim at best even with Robbie at the helm so rest him and hope you jag a win against the chooks the following week without him.

May as well give Benji and Lote the week off as well I think. Isn't it amazing how this club gets struck down with injury year after year.

Oh well …. here we go again 😢

Why are our chances slim…...Penrith arent that good and we arent that bad either.

Cmon.....ease up.

We can win this game.

PS......they have injury concerns as well,re Lewis and Jennings.

Well all clubs get hit with injury the difference is some clubs handle these situations better than others… I see no reason why we can't be at least competetive with the injection of some lower graders and if this means the club has TO bring up non top 25 players so be it .

SC, thats a ridiculous assumption to make. With Farah we are the better side on paper, though at this point in time the panthers are playing a lot better than us. I won't be so surprised when and if we win this one because we're good enough, we've got nothing to fear of them.

It would be insane to play Farah. Too many times the Tigers have played injured players and caused a much bigger problem.

eg. I was told Moltzen carried a knee ligament strain into his last game.

THIS IS VERY TRUE .AS MUCH AS I HATE TO SAY IT MANLY WITH DES HASLER ARE VERY GOOD OVERCOMING INJURIES DES MAKES SURE THERE HEADS DONT DROP YOU CAN ADD WAYNE BENNETT AND THE DRAGONS TO THIS LIST ASWELL.THEY ARE OLD SCHOOL COACHES WHO GIVE THE PLAYERS A CAN OF HARDENTHEF*UP TO DRINK BEFORE EACH MATCH .THIS IS A PERFECT OPPORTUNITY FOR US TO SHOW WE ARE STARTING TO HARDEN UP AS A TEAM TO WIN WITHOUT FARAH.

Latest…

Wests Tigers captain ROBBIE FARAH has been cleared to play
against Penrith on Saturday despite carrying an injured elbow.
Scans yesterday revealed FARAH had suffered ligament damage to
his elbow but he has been told by doctors there is little chance of
aggravating the injury.
The Tigers hooker says the elbow will be uncomfortable to play
with but has ruled out the use of painkillers.
Coach TIM SHEENS is happy with doctor's advice and is confident
there is no risk of further damage.

That's fantastic news…..Source mate

Is it from the main webstie?

great news..im sure we will still be seeing brown on the bench just incase fitzy is needed to move into the halfs..if not id like to see brown used for a lock rotation anyway

Fulton can fill in at 9 if Robbie needs a rest

i actually never thought of this….though fulton is defending great where he is and also attacking...playing hooker will probably take too much out of him imo

fultons workrate is second to none he will have no problems who knows if he performs it may open up some fulton9 farah7 marshall6 talk.

Fulton trained the offseason along with Fitzy as Farahs understudy. He was also the player who took on the dummy half role when Farah was struggling in the match vs Canberra(?) thiis year.
