Thing is I think Samuela is actually pretty skilful. I imaging he wouldn't be a battering ram provided he was given the freedom to play eyes up a little bit. But now that Doueihi is (supposedly) re-signed I'm imagining Benji views Doueihi as the 13.

I'd say there is a nonzero chance Samuela becomes a middle in the Tino mold and takes the 13 jersey. But only if someone like Roberts jumps out of the ground and demands selection.

I actually think Saukuru is still Flegg eligible next year. But it's also his contract year so if he doesn't break through he won't get another top 30 deal anywhere.

His contract next year has to be though.

Mason has played 12 games of NSW cup this year and their record when he plays is 3 wins 9 losses. 2 of those wins he played fullback. Their record without him entirely is 5 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses. Mason has started 5 games of NRL this year and in those games his record is 0 wins 5 losses...

Didn't manage to figure out Josh Schuster. I don't think Fifita has it in him to be an NRL player. It takes a tremendous amount of discipline to keep yourself mentally and physically up to that standard for weeks, months and years on end and some just aren't built for it.

It's about this time of year that most of the worst value contracts will get signed as bad teams go into bidding wars for players that are replacement value or worse. Once this period is over the players that will be left to choose from will have skinnier markets and offer pretty similar value...
