There comes a time in every teenagers life where they get sick of asking their parents for money to buy something. They go and get a job at Mcdonald's or equivalent so they can start to pay their own way. This is no different. Can't get what you want if someone else is always deciding.

Could be, but they will profit this year and results will have improved. Club will have more revenue opportunity in coming years. Things going well - he knows what he's doing.

Obviously in a perfect world he wouldn’t have started there, but he wouldn’t be exposed to that in KOE. There’s enough positives from him yesterday to show that he’s not a write off. This idea that a player has a bad game and he’s gone for good is 1980s thinking.

Anyone who writes off a 19 y.o playing centre for the first time in first grade, who's had very few training reps in that position has no idea...not to mention he was up against one of the best attacking centres in the comp. Honestly, if you are lucky enough to play first grade you're a freak...

Money. That’s all. Longer term play. Save the cash now.

If you’ve watched the 2 of them you couldn’t come to that conclusion. Haywood is much more of a threat from 9, has a better kicking game and gives better service. He’s not as big and strong but that will come. We were a shambles in the weekend and a big part of it was TDS service from dummy...

They let him go as they want to save the money. It doesn't make sense to keep him for another six months minimum and have him play reserve grade, when they can let him go now, save the money and promote Haywood to NSW Cup. They have a long-term plan - if they kept him until the end of next year...

It won't be long before Haywood is starting in NSW Cup. He'll probably start this week. It wouldn't surprise me if he gets a run off the bench on first grade later in the year.

Credit for this one goes to Lincoln Hudson on Facebook. Couldn't agree more. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/19kJCu6U42/ There’s been plenty of noise this week from so-called “Wests Tigers fan pages,” podcasts, and media outlets lining up to take a swing at Shane Richardson and Benji Marshall...

I think that even if you think you’re sure, you don’t challenge in first half. So many decisions in second half decide the game and refs get a lot of them wrong.

Don’t know about that. 3 weeks in a row challenging early.

    Benji 2025 and Beyond

Not sure if anyone noticed but after Pole challenged the knock on early on the camera went to Benji and he said “we’re so f@&cking stupid”. Benji must be pulling his hair out. 3 weeks in a row we’ve done challenges early in the game. They need a rule that states no challenges in first half...

I actually think he’s too much about control in games. They never chance their arm in the first half.

I don’t think he has to go. Before the Galvin debacle the team was doing much better. They now need time to build combinations between Luai and Latu. The players play for him and this is something players didn’t do for Madge or Sheens. Once KPP comes in, Makasini or May comes in and there’s a...

In the past, yes, but not now.

Exactly, so there’s a plan. They still probably should have got Tallyn on somehow though. Wait until Latu and Luai have full preseason, we have KPP on edge and Makasini replacing Douehi in centres. If Taylan comes good I’d have him on the wing, or if Toa doesn’t resign have taylan in centres.

Not sure if you’ve seen it - in the Arrive Alive Cup final that Galvin played in, Galvin went to put the ball down over the line and a player comes from behind and knocks the ball out of his hands. It was Jared Haywood playing up a year for Patrician Brothers Blacktown as their five-eighth. The...

He won’t be lock long-term. My guess is he’ll start next game.

Yes, I’m not sure about why he doesn’t want to use bench players. Especially when Canberra were buggered, some fresh, fast legs would have been great.

True that. I really don’t think Manly are a well-run club though. Good players, but can’t seem to put it together.
