We don’t need to replace him as an 80mins prop. It didn’t work last season. Was he good sure but he lost his punch for majority of runs as the season went on because of it. He is a prop not a backrower or lock and we need to play him as such.

It would be really cool if May put on some size and is used as a 50min punch style forward. With Bunty, Hunt, Pole, Fainu, Twal and Seyfarth no reason he couldn’t be that - would also up his chances at SOO as well.

Based on Shaun’s previous track record I don’t agree but he would’ve known that the first one was going to have added emotion / venting.

Sweeny was great today but doesn’t have the power game to get far in grand slams - biggest win and also longest match he has played so massive congrats to him. Monfils was one of my favorite players to watch he is a true magician and one of the genuine shot makers on the tour even at 39.

Parra shouldn’t have let him go. They agreed to Lomax leaving which people forget. They also have instigated players breaking contracts at other clubs. Hope he joins the Storm and scores the match winner.

Aussie Dane Sweeny is literally doing a Monfils on Monfils - diving and sliding all over the court some unbelievable plays. Very entertaining match to watch.

Exactly. Everyone wants 30 players of all NRL star quality. Madden wasn’t signed to play 100% of games and be a match breaker. He is here for squad depth which based on previous history our halves and hooker do have challenges playing out a season. Also having a half of his quality in reggies...
