Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Parra shouldn’t have let him go.
They agreed to Lomax leaving which people forget.

They also have instigated players breaking contracts at other clubs.

Hope he joins the Storm and scores the match winner.
no one forgets they allowed him to leave - they also put conditions on letting him break his contract which he happily agreed to. and now that things fell through for him he wants to break another agreement. the guy is an a grade tosser. as much as i hate parra i hope they stick to their guns and win the up coming court case.

They've got a very short memory!!
This time last year, They were certain they'd have Galvin before the Easter game.

This is a bit different,
But they have no problem wriggling players out of clubs to sign with them, and there's been plenty in the last few years (Especially from us)

As I said, this is very different - But the basics are the same, A Player doesn't want to play for one club and wants to go to another.
They aren't used to it being an outgoing for them and not an incoming - so they've gone legal.
Poor buggers....

I hear you mate it really is a damned if you do/don't scenario isn't it for NRL followers, but not satisfying whichever way it results, it really stinks of the possibility of a strong team getting stronger as well, so much for keeping an even competition.

Would rejoice if Lomax was told he was allowed to play for a lower table team only or sit out a year.

Wonder if the opinions would be different should he have been linked to us
- I'd suspect so.

I honestly don't care - It's happened to us so much that I'm numb to it.
One of the Journos came out and said after the Galvin thing, Richo had told him the off season before he was certain he was trying to get to Canterbury. So they were wriggling him over there for the best part of 2 years before it came off. I think the Parra attempt only cropped up after brown bailed to the Knights - which they didn't anticipate. Galvin was their afterthought.
We always get shafted, Either they jump ship or we pick up some shite contract and stuck
with a Dud for years on end (Mbye, Reynolds - I'm looking at you)

I just wanna watch good Footy, Players will turn on Clubs, Clubs will turn on Players,
Fans will turn on Players - Fans will turn on clubs... It just goes round - it never stops.

What makes Parra so special when a player doesn't want to play for them?
They weren't so steadfast in in following the letter of the law when it Came to Moses or Matto.

Matto just didn't come back - No whispers, Nothing....
As soon as we released him, Signed a deal worth more to Parra the very Nek Minnut.
Had Moses family on TV barking about his mental health for a release to Parra for him to go there and march them deep into finals.

Now they want to the game to back them... Bit rich!

They aren't called the eels for nothing, any slimy dealings to do as long as it's on the road to the top, they should get Gould to come over to them next, match made in heaven.

Lol if Lomax was a possibility of coming here supporters would go ballistic, get rid of Toa would be ringing in our ears in desperation to get him, but on the flipside if the dream came true does another disgruntled junior throw the toys out of the cot.

Playing good footy we can only hope it's not just a dream, I don't know about you but I'm happy if we improve again this season and fight for the 8, you never know it could be the catalyst for outside recruits to get interested in the joint, but when we do reach the 8 again it can't be a flash in the pan we need to be intrenched for seasons.

Hope is about 2 seasons past for me man.

Our window to 'build' something is rapidly closing.
Api is getting older, Luai ain't here to get spanked every week.
Terrell & Tyrone off contract next year, Bula this year.

Half empty glasses suck - But Tucker is right, If we don't fire (And I mean really fire) this year,
This is all more than likely to blow up deluxe!!

Luai ain't getting $1.2M at any other club he ain't going anywhere.

Yep, I get that rain cloud feeling too in the back of the mind, said many times lately that this is the most important season for a long time, they all are but this one especially for your above reasons.

It has the potential to go nuclear on all aspects of the club, top to bottom.

Did I exonerate him of any responsibility for our form?

I said he'll get sick of losing (Average is 75%+ before he got here) he's not used to it, And he WILL get sick of it. He'll also have options...

Like it or not.

More importantly has anyone made there Super coach team yet I was just looking at the price's Albo must be involved because the prices have gone Up

I hate parra as much as anyone and personally i would like all 3 - parra storm and lomax, to lose out but in reality parra actually did the right thing for once in their slimy history and allowed this dork to walk to further pad out his pockets and add to his ever ballooning ego. Serves the twat right for what happened next. As for melbourne, PVL should tell them to either put up a player of equal standing or shut up.

Yet it’s ok for Parra to pick and choose how they approach players to break contracts to join them.

They can’t have it both ways.

They also haven’t been serious about him rejoining them. From what I’ve been told Parra haven’t even offered him a contract despite a conversation hence his manager investigated other options.

nor should Lomax have it anyway he wants . Seems Parra quickly bought the GC guy to fill his position going by the time line and inuendo, to plant their flag on the highest hill

Exactly
- they spent his money on Pezet already… Braith Anasta said early on Lomax had played his last game for Parra…
he knew, because he was involved in them spending that same money.

AND
- all the while Parra are quietly hoping they build something with Pezet and he doesn’t go to Brisbane.

None of its right, but their hypocrisy is next level.
If they cared so much - why didn’t they take him to court to enforce his contract?
Because they wanted Pezet more,
and they really didn’t care..

Even now, they’re trying to get another player to break contract to compensate them - when they’ve already done that in Pezet.
