Seems like PVL lives rent feee in your head. He wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea but certainly gets a lot of publicity for the game and NRL currently in a good state
Exactly the same for me. If we are watching a game with an ex Tigers player my kids ask whether we like them or not. The response always depends if they left their contract early or not, so didn’t like Marty, Moses, Matterson etc
Poor old Royce just in this off season has varied from the new improved version who lost weight and can be a hit for us to nowhere good enough for the top 17 ( while playing about 20 minutes of actual football).
I love the off season
Has an excellent skill set for a lock, however he needs a lot of growing to be a viable option at NRL level (even in the days of smaller mobile forwards)
I have seen this a few times about Masi. I saw him play several times in rugby, including the Junior Waratahs and Wallabies and each time he was left wing. Large was often in these same rep sides as number 12 (centre)
Certainly not trying to pump his own tyres, but just a hypothetical decision he doesn’t have to make.
Bit like saying I would knock back Margot Robbie because I love my wife
Players like Casey McLean and AFB were born in Australia just like Jerome, Haas etc who have already played for NSW and other nations. Unlike QLD player Adrian Lam
