Re Farrell there’s a link with him in 2014 and that water company because the ceo of the water company was the tigers chair. https://www.smh.com.au/national/nsw/nick-di-girolamo-resigned-from-wests-tigers-club-days-before-icac-inquiry-announced-20140304-345be.html Feel free to shoot me down -...

I love your optimism my man. Melbourne isn’t a 4-5 hour flight with a 3 hour time difference. What’s the point of juniors in Perth, if the competition hasn’t adjusted to Perth logistics? The market needs to adjust to the team to. The NRL doesn’t even do it for the Warriors, why would they...

Ok, sure , the bears have financial capital. But how much pivoting of the nrl business model have we seen already? Ofc Money is important but no where near enough. Like me giving you a million dollars to run a lemonade stand 4-5 hours away from where everyone else sells their goods & where all...

With this reply you’ve reframed my argument from the NRL player transfer system is “an informal institutional player system” to “the nrl can respawn any player any where “ (absolutism argument, that’s often the rebuttal to my points). I never claimed the NRL can issue directives and move...

Appreciate the stress test 🏋️ I agree, the NRL brand isn’t damaged, the NRL is doing quite well and that’s the problem. You’re supporting my argument. The real locus of power / real problem sit with the NRL administrators. The clubs issues (Tigers, HBG, local boards, win rates, pokies, etc.)...

The argument for fully embracing the Macarthur as home for the Wests Tigers.

I’m getting a strong feeling there’s a link between the NRL O’Farrell, player agents (eg Moses) , jarome Luai to PNG and management of Federal Gov contracts - like when Chammas was at the Luai png signing it wasn’t a coincidence - the NRL can preframe the positive narrative before some private...

Appreciate the info… I keep hitting walls with how Shaun M, Barry O are hired … Barry Ofarrell is still the issue … because he connects the NRL and club Could be nothing but I doubt it.

Do you guys see Offarrrell at matches? Or seldom? Trying to probe to check his real allegiance. Ppl vote with their 🦶

Just surface view Elias would have more club interests than say ofarrell? I went down the rabbit hole of why Marino Go had a limited term but Barry Ofarrell doesn’t then looked at: - Ofarrell and racing Australia vs the NRL penguin dude and his racing NSW link but that was weak (I think) So...

You legend, thank you I’ll come back… I’m still digging into the structure of the club … trying to link Barry with NRL … etc Much appreciated brother have a great weekend

When O’Farrell was fired, do you guys happen to know who the replacement was? Or going to be? the person HBG planned to appoint would reveal the boards structural plans for the club while also simultaneously showing why it was a risk for the NRL - I suppose the other firings also contributed to...

Agreed the NRL do not care - especially about the tigers. In business terms the NRL demonstrated that clearly with the first Las Vegas year and the teams the NRL showcased first. That's compounded, with the NRL scheduling too - tigers round 1 bye twice in 2-3 years and the titans getting the...

in the history of rugby league, has there been a time where fans didn’t attend any more matches? (I’m trying to isolate the variable , the NRL & what they do , or at a deeper level any sport?)

The argument for fully embracing the Macarthur as home for the Wests Tigers.

I’ve gone down that rabbit hole 🕳️ brother lol some thoughts I had that led me to the NRL: - Why would Holman Barnes group have interests in the success of a sports team when its business interests rests on pokies? The only benefit is community alignment. - How did this business structure...

The argument for fully embracing the Macarthur as home for the Wests Tigers.

I don’t know much at all about politics but for this team the fundamental question I think is “at what point do govts / institutions (NRL) start caring about the clubs/ppl?” Like at what point does accumulated failure, declining support, or external pressure force the people running the system...

And the same negative consequences are very likely for the Perth bears too- both the clubs structure , its environment will be causal factors but the biggest variable is the NRL and its inability to support its clubs.
