Yvonne Sampson seems to be a massive tigers fan on nrl 360 !!

She feels bad for us. She's a bronx fan.

Don't know that is true, she is the driving force behind this Doco on Fox Sports' end. Spoke to her during filming and she is incredibly passionate about the club and the Balmain area.

She has openly said on NRL 360 that she is a Broncos fan. She is also a Queenslander.

Also, you know who pays her bills right?

I don't watch FOX Sports shows, am only going off my conversation with her. This Doco wouldn't have happened without her, there is definitely some affection for the club that goes beyond pity.

All I'm saying is she is not a fan of the Wests Tigers in the traditional way people are fans of sporting clubs.

She is pushing the doco cause she works for Fox and do you see any other team docos going around?

She actually instigated the doco, on Fox Sports end. At the time I was speaking with her she had just done up a preview of the show to justify the spend. This Doco is her concept, so she is not just pushing it because she works for Fox, she was the person standing behind the camera.

I'm not saying she is a fan, I am saying that from my personal conversation with her that there is an affection for the club that goes beyond pity or work. I am actually very surprised to here that she is a fan of another club after meeting and discussing this doco with her.

I'm not in it, but they were filming at the Sackville the day the Ambush held an event there. @Tiger_Steve and I chatted to Yvonne for about 30 mins, mostly about the doco.

I feel like he is growing weird hair because it's the only way to keep fans engaged. CEO looks like a clown, gives someone to hate, those fans don't give up on the game, then when we are good again those fans will stop hating him.

Nothing unites the people quite like a common enemy.

Man I love Farah. He was such a smart footballer and is so passionate. If majority of our current squad had his skill and toughness, we'd be there already.

Me too - got into many an argument on here defending him. Might have the blinkers on a bit when it comes to him but wish we had more like him.

I mean, whatever speculation about his character aside - he was an absolutely one of a kind hooker. I can't think of a current hooker with the style he used to have. Try scoring kicks from 2 metres out with no room to move? No problem. Scoring tries? No problem. Perfectly placed kicks for position? No problem. Defensive workhorse? No problem. And most importantly, bled for the club. The fact you had to defend him at all on this sub is really bizarre, considering the lack of success this club has had and the success and professionalism he brought to it on the field. All that coach talk I don't care about because I base a player off what he does on the field, and most of our current players are half the player he was.

His defence really wasn't the best,... That was my main beef with him late in his career
I agree about yiur comments on his passion though and we could use more of that with our blokes

Really enjoyed the show tonight, obviously better when we are watching the boys win. I felt that it was much more interesting content and we got to see the sort of more in depth stuff we as fans may have been worried wasn't actually being addressed. I am more convinced now that Madge and the group do know what the hell is going on, and there really is the start of something here for the Tigers to keep working at.

It was good to see confirmation that Harry still contributes to the club, some people didn't want to believe it so hopefully that puts an end to the rumblings that he is not contributing.

I enjoyed the episode tonight. Having a string of wins helps in that regard.
Interesting (given the coincidental timing of Blockers comments) that they showed the playing group breaking down into smaller groups on game day and coaching staff engaging with players in those smaller groups.
Faz is and always will be a baller (can’t underestimate the respect he carries in and around the playing group).
Hopefully we get some Adam Hartigan in the next episode.
Dunno why but seeing Dennis Burgess in the sheds on game day was triggering.

I like that he won’t see Pascoe before 3pm because he is concentrating on Meriton business for the bulk of the day. There is a lesson in that.
