He's not even playing great footy. Why would we want him back?

we could push Joffa to second row and drop Garner

So just buy another second rower

who is on the market that is any good ?

Matterson

Should only be bought back to fill a void if Madge feels the need. And a $ value in the clubs favour. Saying he carried our pack for years is the absolute wrong mindset to approach the negotiating table with.
Farah bowed out Benji pulled the wall out when he was kicked out the back door
What would woods do???

Let’s call it out - Woods can sniff the availability of Packer’s $850k funds at season’s end.
Woods’ defection to the defection to the Dogs as Tigers Captain should end any chance of a future back at the Tigers.
Time for a skin graft Woodsy, your butt is not worthy of our postcode.

While we're at it, lets have another crack at Tim Mannah.

If for no other reason, then simply for the part he played in sinking that scum bag Isaac Moses.

Probably one of the best plays ever, on or off the field.

Led the exodus as captain. Not in a million years. Went to the dogs of all teams at least Moses and Teddy went to greener pastures which is understandable.

Was based on players still playing ...I think ..just pulling names out of my ass really

I don't hate Woods at all. Earned his keep and honoured his contract. We got far better value from him than many players before and since - and during a time when the club was a rabble, and turned on the club captain that he was asked to replace.

Woods is a stats player not a team player.
Might make meters but slow play the ball and in defence is lazy in getting back in the defensive line

Surprised Desi never went after him with those stats.

Can still remember that photo when Woods was photographed in a Manly box ...years ago ...the meltdown on here was memorable

Fair dinkum. After reading the grudges some of you guys hold, the milk on my cornflakes turned instantly sour.

If the coach reckons Woodsy could win us some games, I'm all in.

I couldn't give two hoots about what happened way back under a different coach. I want us to win a premiership..

I think he regretted leaving even before he left. I remember towards the end of his last year here, the Dogs hadn’t won many games, and I think they had cap trouble. I think he realised he hitched his wagon to a lemon, and he was asked about whether he’d honour the contract, and there was a lot of umming and ahhing from him. I think if Cleary wanted to, he could have talked him into reneging, but I think Cleary’s attitude was “you made your bed”

As if winning or not winning a premiership hinges on signing Aaron Woods.

I know what he did before he left was wrong, especially being captain. But I will always have more forgiveness for Woods than for Moses the Tanker.

Add Matterson and Aloiai as well.

I didn't like the way he handled his departure but I'd have no problem with him returning. Unlike the other two who like to pretend they were never at the joint at least Woods has good thing to say about us.

I honestly think he might just be really stupid and he has no idea why what he did was wrong.

Well there’s that too...
