I'd like to see;

- Nofo, released
- AD, futured sorted - here or elsewhere?
- Some new outside backs signed, primarily centres.
See what happens with the development of Lobb, Union lad & maybe even Declan Casey
- a strong 13, whoever that may be... Matamua, Faagutu, Lualiii?
- Some up and comers really kicking on, in the likes of the Lualaliii bros, Feledy, Faagutu, Miller, etc.
- Galvin, slowly moving through the grades, ready for an FG opportunity
- Figure out who partners Luai... my guess is Fainu

He wouldn’t have won a single premiership without Jr, but in saying that he has coached Jr into a GF winner, so you gotta give him some credit, and yeah I reckon he would of done ok here. But him stabbing us like that sent us into a downward spiral that Fruit Pascals didn’t have the nous to arrest.

I’m gonna step away from this now coz whilst I was upset( and disappointed) as well, I’m obviously not carrying the deep scars that many on here are.
I actually thought he could have done good things with the cattle we had, even without Junior. But there you go !

People are just completely writing season 24 off because Luai arrives in 25 and that solves all our concerns…
Fkn madness.
How we go in this season directly relates to how we perform in 25. If we have a terrible year, no one steps up from the juniors, don’t recruit well…then Luai will make bugger all difference.
This season matters and far too many are negating it’s importance.

Matamua, Laulilii, Bateman, Fa'agutu, Pole, even a reinvented Doueihi (despite being OC).

Many of those are either unlikely or too early, but I'd say he's in the mix, particularly if his passing game continues to improve.

I'm not convinced. For a big guy he got man handled in the u19's Origin.

His best chance is to be as mobile as possible and play off the bench as an edge backrower and cover for injuries in the centres.

He has good skill, so if he can get a bit more powerful he will be ok.

yeah I have some pretty grave concerns about his defence in the middle. back row is definitely where he needs to be for now, especially with his attacking skillset. he’ll be eaten alive in the middle at the minute.

Mine haven’t changed. A bad year this season = a poor 2025.
A spoon this year is catastrophic for next year.
