Iam not sure if a spoon this year will make much or any difference to next year if we are introducing four or five new quality players to the squad. Although it will take time to bed new players in so Iam not looking at instant results either.
One thing for certain we need another two or three players to supplement the two we got from Riff
 
I have a distinct feeling that they have written this season off much the same as sheenā€™s did with releasing players

Just hope Richos got better contacts in the visa department

Winning the spoon this year shows no improvement or growth with those already here.
I remember stating that 2022 season was important to build momentum before Api and the others arrived. Didnā€™t happen and 2022 was a spoon. They arrived and made no difference earning another in 23 and now probably another in 24.
Luai and Turuva wonā€™t make a lick of difference unless we build the back half of this season.
 
If we get no more than 4 wins this season we havenā€™t improved.

If we get no more than 8 wins this season playing the finals next year is very unlikely (85% chance based on last 23 seasons) regardless of Luai coming - who at this point may not have a forward pack laying a foundation for him.
