Now that Teddy has realized that going near Sticky was a huge , huge mistake. We can now see what our spine could be like for years to come.

1\. Teddy - yours for many years
6\. ? - Moses / Austin or maybe a bolter Te Martin
7\. Brooks also for many years
9\. Robbie for the next couple of years, then Cherrington / Luani or ?

It a shame that Robbie will only be around for 2-3 years as this combo would be like what the storm have had for years.
what does every one think about the 6 - and the 9 in years to come.

Robbie is only 30 - he still has another 4 years in him I reckon. Austin needs to be moved to five-eighth asap. Would like to see Moses remain in State Cup the rest of the year

I agree we need Austin at 6 for the rest of the year, Mosses to develop in NSW cup for the rest of 2014 then for Mosses to form a lethal partnership with Brooks for 2015…Brooks would've had 12 months in the NRL and will be the leader in the halves to support Mosses....As for Farah I can see him playing till he is 34...he is a smart footballer and with the development of Woods, Brooks and Sirro over the next 4 years we should rely less and less on Robbie which should see him last longer in the NRL and become a WT legend!...yes, the future is really bright again!.

I agree with this too. Moses is now the final piece to the NRL team and although he has been killing it so far in State Cup he probably needs to remain there and get used to the task for an extended period. And continue to work on his defence and size. His passing game to the left side has been very impressive (miles ahead of Anasta) and we can look forward to that!

By next season he should be bigger and more robust, and until then Austin is the man for #6.

Woods, Farah, Brooks, Moses, Siro, Tedesco, Nofo, Simona, Richards, Lawrence, Gavet, TaPOW, Thompson, Tip toe Kiethy, Blair, Austin, jessie sue
holy shit
What a f**king team. Potentially 6 NSW origin players

Depending on how the interchange rules change in the next few years Robbie could still have 5 years if he remains injury free

The other 2 players pick themselves in Tedesco and Brooks

Six will be interesting Moses is the obvious choice but Potter has big wraps on TeMaire Martin , said so in an interview early in the season

As for 2014 , would it be worth hanging onto Moses until late in the year and then use him as an impact player if we make the semis

The less teams see of Moses the more effective he could be in a late season charge

Cherrington and Luani have not impressed me much. I don't think they are long term solutions when Robbie retires.

If Cherrington can get a bit more size on him he may improve. Luani offers good service from dummy half but little else. He doesn't really take the line on, doesn't have a kicking game as far as I am aware and doesn't set up tries. Whether he could develop into this player….I am not sure.

We have 4-5 years before we need to make a long term decision on this, and who knows who might pop up or put their hand up in the meantime.

Moses from next year will be the starting 6 for the rest of his career! I have been involved with he and brooks since they played together through high school, the tigers will win comps with these two together! Tigers will have by far the best spine in the Comp from next year.
If Austin wants to be at the tigers he will be off the bench or playing state cup

I understand the gently softly approach re Moses but he is killing it in State Cup….

I would love to see him get a go in firsts. ASAP.

I think we have a serious 2 year window of opportunity at a premiership after next year depending on how Moses is brought along and when Farah decides to call it a day

It's obvious the club has Moses pencilled in for the 5/8 role long term due to his and Brooks long term contracts they signed. So the spine will be.

1\. Tedesco
6\. Moses
7\. Brooks
9\. Farah

I think we have the long term solution for once Farah retires. I believe that with the right tutelage by the coaches and by one of the best number nines in the game (Farah) they could really mould Austin into the great 9.

Look at it this way, everyone say's Luani does not gave the passing or kicking game ie attacking game. Well Austin already has a great attacking and kicking game. He has shown when Farah was injured that he can play dummy half, and with a few years to develop this, I reckon he could be a top notch number 9!

I agree but I think I'd up that to a 3 yr window

Luani definitely shouldn't be Robbie's replacement when the great man eventually gives it away….Lacks creativity in a big way and has no standout aspects to his game to be a successful NRL hooker IMO.....Haven't seen a great deal of Cherrington but can't imagine he's any better if he's behind Luani in the pecking order.....

Robbie's money should be spent buying either a very good replacement hooker or if there's a natural successor within the tigers ranks when he retires, buying a classy centre/back rower or two given the successor probably won't be demanding much at that time....

Where do you peeps see Austin's future at WT? It's almost universally accepted that Brooks/Moses will be the long term halves combo with Teddy at the back and Robbie here for at least the next 3-4 years, so where will he fit into the set up?....I'm aware he can play on the edges but I do feel his style suits a ball playing role more than a predominantly ball running position.....Will he continue to be used as a utility?...My fear is given his impressive form thus far this season and most likely in the near future a rival club will pop up and offer him a guaranteed starting spot which would be too good to refuse.....Wouldn't be surprised if the Raiders came circling again given their non-entity halves.....

Could Austin be considered for hooker after Farah? He's still young, and seems to have spark from dummy half.

That's if he can hang around for three to four years as a utility first…

The future looks bright, they have assembled an outstanding spine for years to come.

Mania is not Robbie Farah, but I think he is a terrific prospect and not far behind the other youngsters in both potential and development.

H-Tozza Cherrington has alot more potential (particularly at hooker) than Luani, who is a few years older than Cherrington, hence being preferred at the moment. Luani's versatility adds value for his long term prospects, he is probably equal parts hooker and back row, might see him develop into a bench player that can fill either role here or somewhere else (Dene Halatau style)

if austin learns to calm down and pick his moments he should replace farah at 9 when robbie retires…moses dominated u20 origin and plays exactly like Lockyear he should be our 6 for his career

I too think Austin could make a great 9\. Would he want to wait 4 or 5 years for it though?

He's too good to leave out of the squad at the moment, and with Moses nipping at his heels it will be good to have quality competition for such a crucial spot.
