Wonder how Boxing day will go this year with crowds / no crowds.

As much as i am also looking forward to it the odds of it happening would be getting longer every day.I wouldnt be suprised if the entire ashes series is played in 1 state that has a decent low covid profile.It would be far easier to control the bubble for both sides that will probably be required.
WA would be a possibility as would SA and Qld.

Ouch - sorry to hear that. We don' hve one case in the area I live and we still have to lockdown because of lovely people who won't do the right thing.

I'm restricting calories at the moment but happy to indulge in a coffee (little cart there was surprisingly decent) and bottled water.

BTW there would be no awkward 'oh we're sat together so should try and make small talk' issues as

a) I don't even do smalltalk with people I know, and

b) I'll be sat in a different section on the opposite side of the ground. So can simply SMS whoever wants the ticket directly from the Ticketek portal.

Disappointing season yes but with all the other cognitive overloads this year I’m looking forward to one less thing sitting heavily in my mind. Spring is here, I have a new e bike and I’m looking forward to blasting a few trails and going further for longer with power assistance on the big hills!
